What Should I Do About The Trash Left In My Neighbors Back Yard

What should i do when my neighbor dump their trash in my backyard?

You need to document this in writing every time it happens. Write down the dates and times this occurs and take pictures of the trash. Since you already spoke with them and nothing has been done, you need to contact the city and county for your state regarding illegal dumping. You may also want to contact the health department since they are dumping diapers which is unsanitary. Don't call the police as they won't be able to do anything about this anyway.

Is it wrong to throw my neighbors dog shit back over the fence in his yard?

Legally, probably. Ethically, nope. I used to have a neighbor who did the same. My neighbor and I both put a lot of effort and pride in our lawns. So to prevent dog shit and piss from being in her yard, she walked her dog to my front lawn every morning around 6 AM. I warned her, she can’t say I did not warn her. I began saving the evidence in a 5 gallon bucket behind my house. Once it was full, I returned her dogs lost items all across her front lawn while she was on vacation with one of her boyfriends. Because of that, the beetles and so on came to enjoy the buffet therefore destroying the roots of the grass. I sprayed pesticide on mine to prevent spreading. When she came home, the lawn was brown and patchy. When she asked why, I told her dog shit has a tendency to do that. She suddenly knew why I kept that bucket full of “compost” behind my house. She started using her own backyard for her dog from then on.

I think my neighbor is the one who had stolen from my backyard and broken into my car. What can I do to catch him? As a renter, I can’t install permanent cameras on the walls.

I’m very sure it’s my neighbor. I caught him wandering off suspiciously on my side when I got home one night, but he said he was “drunk” and was just taking a walk…My neighbor also throws his trash into my black bin whenever there’s an opportunity, like when I left the bin out after garbage collection and came home to find food scraps and a wine bottle, which I saw was outside his place the night before, inside my bin. Please, I need to catch this motherfucker or at least gather some evidence without breaking my bank. And I can’t install security cameras on the walls because I’m renting this place. The temporary ones can easily be stolen as well, so I don’t want that.

How can I legally keep a neighbors dog out of my yard? I'm open to any suggestions.

I like the water spray as non-harmful.When I lived in the city and had a tiny front yard that the dog walkers thought perfect for allowing their dogs to use without cleanup, I bought the largest cheapest container of finely ground white pepper I could find and liberally doused the lawn with it (closest to the walk and travel areas - needs to be refreshed occasionally after rains - useless in deep snow). This drove them off pretty rapidly without interaction and pretty soon I had no more unwanted deposits. Except for the sneezing as they depart... ;^DThat trick does nothing for the barking, so I'm with the advice about befriending the dog (who, after all, is just being a dog).I would also follow the advice about logging the matter with the town/village in writing, so if you can't resolve amicably with the neighbor, you can then pursue the legal options, but nuisance stuff is usually a pain for all involved (laws around this stuff get written because unreasonable humans can't get along, be responsible pet owners, and they want someone else to resolve it rather than address it personally - like animal control or police - so if it can be worked out amicably between neighbors, its always better).

If your neighbors were throwing garbage and other things out of their house every day, making the surroundings dirty, being a good citizen of society, what steps would you take to make them understand their mistake?

I successfully solved this exact situation as a student, but I suspect my solution might not work for you. However it might, and if not you might be able to adapt the basic strategy. The problem is this.Arguing the case that they are bad citizens is hardly likely to get an agreement. They clearly do not care or they would not be bad citizens. And admitting that they were bad citizens would have literally no benefit to them. They would look bad, feel bad, and even lose their status as bad citizens - because bad citizens are intimidating and do not get pushed around and get to do what they like without worrying. But that last fact gave my machiavellian mind an idea.Instead of trying to convince them that they were bad, I convinced them that they weren’t bad enough.I spoke to one of them and heavily implied that I was dealing drugs out of my house. I pointed out that I did not appreciate having attention drawn to my street. I pointed out that if the police came round my neighbourhood I would be bothered by that. I pointed out that they were drawing attention.I also pointed out that I knew a guy who lived next door to some messy people. And that it turned out they were undercover police - and using the abandoned house next door for surveillance. And how as a result, the way their place looked bad… could look bad, if I were the paranoid type.By the following day their place was spotless. It actually made my place look bad in comparison. And it was a win win really.Because it solved the neighbour problem. But also - my drug dealing business boomed.…joke.

Is it illegal to dump trash in someone's yard?

Let's say hypothetically, that you have a crazy English teacher who is giving you a 65 as your average. And you really hate her and when you learn to drive you just might want to dump trash and toilet paper her house and maybe egg it. Is it illegal to dump the trash? And remember this is all hypothetical.

How should I confront a neighbor who threw up in my yard?

I live with my grandparents who has lived in our home for over 50 years. We keep up the property and take pride in our home. A new family moved next door and though we don't like the idea of new neighbors, my family has embrace them. We speak to them and wave hello each and everytime we see them. For the past year, the family we're use to seeing has suddenly been replaced by a few new faces. I see the mom, whom I'm use to seeing occasionally. I assume these new faces are members of her family she may be renting to out to. Anyway, lately, I've been noticing trash in our front yard here and there, on the very side
were me and my neighbors share property. My family rarely hangs out outside and we're big on keeping the yard clean. I suspect it's our neighbors with the
new faces. I've gotten very annoyed by this, but I still my tongue in the cheek and pick up the garbage. Now, the other day, I walked to my car and I see a load of throw up! I can smell it and I am in shock. The division that separates our property is a four foot brick wall. As I look at the brick wall I can tell the throw up started on their side and finished on ours. Their was an empty beer bottle standing on the brick wall and I got the point. My neighbors daughter watch me watch the puke in disgust as if she knew her people did it. That drew the line of total disrespect to me. My family has never once threw our trash on their side, never once left beer bottles and random **** in the brick we share. If anything we've hand relieved their mail when the postman made mistakes, we've spoken to them when they wouldn't speak back and we've called AAA for them at the crack of dawn for them and they leave puke in our yard? I've let two days past and I'm still trying to find respectful words that will nip this in the bud. Please, help me find a nice way to confront my neighbors without them feeling attacked or defensive. I need help, because I'm a sista and I can come across as having an attitude, but nevertheless, this crap has to cease ASAP!

Neighbor throwing glass bottles at my dogs?

My next door neighbor's daughter is 19 years old, doesn't work, doesn't go to school, has two babies from 2 different fathers and sleeps all day and stays up all night. Of course, she's living off the system and doesn't do anything for anyone...not even her Mom who works full time but expects her Mom to take care of her kids after she comes home from work while she continues to sleep in. A real selfish parasite.
She cops an attitude whenever anyone makes any kind of noise during the day because it disturbs her sleep. Forget about all the noise she makes all throughout the night, screaming, slamming doors, etc..
and wakes me up every night I've been here since I've moved into this house.
I leave my dogs out in my backyard with my door open so they can come and go as they please. In the winter, I let them out for ab out 15 minutes at a time and if they get too loud with the barking for too long, I shush them up and will bring them in if they're too noisy.
I kept finding trash in my yard, bottles and cans. I suspected it was the next door neighbor but wasn't sure. By the positioning of where the trash landed, only they could have thrown the trash. The other day, I actually saw the trash fly over my fence and into my yard from their yard.
She was throwing bottles at my dog for barking a couple of minutes...if even that long...in the middle of the day, 2pm.
I throw the trash back into their yard but now my dog's leg is injured and I'm wondering if one of her glass bottles hit his leg and injured him.
I'm putting up a surveillence camera to catch it on tape that she's doing this so I can call the cops on her and hopefully also get her for animal abuse.
Think I should report her to the Animal Abuse people now or should I wait until I have some evidence?

Accidentally left lawnmower tire marks on neighbors driveway.?

I was mowing my neighbors yard and finished the front so I grabbed a piece of trash and being lazy I started the mower and pushed the self propel one handed up the driveway and it hopped around a bit. I looked back and there are 2 light tire track mark about 4 foot long.

I'm worried now, I didn't mean to leave tire tracks, what will happen?? And when will the marks go away? You can't see them unless you are at the top of the driveway.
