How do I make the school week go by faster?
I always have a saying when it comes to what days feel like at my school: the days go quickly, and the weeks go slowly.We have a block schedule, which means that I only have four classes a day at most, and on my alternative days, I only have 2 academic classes and either Global Citizenship (easy, no homework, pass/fail), or Sculpture 1.Yeah, every week is always a drag, always a lot of homework, tests, sports, clubs, and other stuff. If anything, I’d say that my week is a lot longer than most, as, at the earliest, I leave the school at 5:30, and I come in on Saturdays as well.It can be hard, and I don’t always have the motivation to keep on moving sometimes. But I do have a couple tricks that I use to get me through the week.Back to my saying at the beginning of the question. Live in the moment of the day.One day, that’s 24 hours, you’ll only spend approximately 6–8 of those (depending on your schedule at school), and accounting for lunches, free periods, and clubs/sports or activities that you enjoy, that’s even less. Yeah, it sucks, but when you live in the moment of the day, everything is going to be over soon, and it really truly is a short amount of time. And then, at the end, you go to sleep. That doesn’t sound to hard, right?Now, while it’s important to plan, for this strategy to truly work, at least, time wise, you need to not think about the rest of the week. Instead of thinking, oh crap, I have 5 of these to get through, just think, I have to get through this one today. Focus on the day. That’s the best that you can do.Another habit that I like to practice is to immerse yourself in what you’re doing.I always hear people say that time flies when you’re having fun, but the truth is that time flies when you’re focused on anything. More often than not, that happens to be something fun, though.However, you’ll find that truly immersing yourself in the moment makes class time fly a lot faster than you think. I, of course, don’t know how long your classes are, but if there anywhere between 45 minutes and 2 hours, then this strategy should be effective.Of course, don’t force it, but there’s always something positive to find, even if it’s not necessarily your work. While I don’t encourage not paying attention, as that will just lower your grades, doodling has been proven to improve focus while not distracting from class, so that might also be a good start.Good luck, my friend.
How to make the last weeks of school go by faster?
I have 7 weeks left of 8th grade (the 4th quarter just started) -my teachers are all serious and are telling us that the 4th quarter is the most important, we must work harder than ever..etc... -final exams are the last 3 days of school , i think thats sooooo retarded bcuz if ur not there, you get a 0, and that means we cant have cameras out and take pictures on the last day! -i am just sooo excited for summer bcuz im soo freaking tired of school -i do understand that i need to stay focused, but everyday in class i find myself watching the clock, and doing everything i can to avoid work -i keep imagining how great it will be the last day of school when we get on the bus and leave - i have summer fever, i just want it so bad, i need it so bad, i am no longer motivated to do homework or anything, i just want to RELAX but my frickin teachers wont let us, they act like we are in prison I want to be able to go swimming and work on my tan everyday, be able to spend a couple of days doing nothing watching TV and movies, going to the beach, seeing movies everynight, having slumber partayys with my friends, go to partys, play man hunt around the neighborhood late at night, make stupid videos with my brother, stay up all nightt, spend a whole day on facebook, read a book for PLEASURE (not a big boring educational book for school), i want to have this freedom! but instead, everyday i have to get up early, go to school (six crappy hours of our lives) come home, do homework, eat dinner, more homework, go to bed... and repeat everyday of the week on weekends i sleep in on Saturdays but on Sundays i go to church in the morning, but every weekend i have some kind of project to work on! I just neeeeeeeeeed SUMMER! Srry for the long description, but someone please help me get thru these painful 2 months left of school

I have to miss the first week of school. How do I cope with this?
I have to go on this trip overseas that is a once in a lifetime chance. I was excited at first until my mother told me that I'd have to miss the first week of eighth grade! I argued with her but she doesn't listen and said that we're going. I've never missed any days in the first few weeks of school because of everything you learn in that important time. I can't even imagine what it would be like to miss just the first week of school. The reason why we have to go on this trip so late in the summer is because our passports are getting renewed and we need to wait for those to come. Please help me. I can't just not go on this trip. Do you think that I'll be ok? I guess you can say that I'm a good student but I do not work well when I am in a new environment. I'm going to the same school, but it's still the first week and there are a lot of things I'll miss. What would you do in this situation?

Im a senior in high school and i have missed 3 weeks of school in a row but am not sure if they dropped e so what should i do just go back like nothing happened or should i go to y counselor his cool i don't think he will get angry because this happened last year but it was months not weeks and he didn't get angry so what should i do because i don't know if i was dropped should i got to the counselor and ask him or what? thanks please no rude answers i know what i did was wrong
On the last day of school should I tell my crush that I like him?
I don't know... Just a random idea. I've liked this guy for a few months now, we talk, but honestly I don't see it going anywhere beyond friendship & even now we're hardly friends. We only have like 4 weeks of school left... And next year I'm moving to a different high school, so I won't see him anymore. Do you think I should confess just for the heck of it on the last day of school? If so, how should I do it? Is writing it in his yearbook a good idea? But idk if he bought one or not lol. (it's kinda hard to get him alone bc the only class we have together he has lots of friends in that class. Well, tomorrow is the last day of school for me. As a end of the year present for me, I was wanting to stay home. The thing is, my mom leaves for work in the morning before I head to the bus stop. I was wanting to stay home tomorrow but not get caught of course. How can I do this because you need a call to the school to be excused? What are the consequences if I get caught?
