What's it like to visit Belize in late August or early September?
September is a terrific month in Belize. They call it September Celebrations as there are two holidays, including independence day on the 21st and they often have events to celebrate all month.August is very hot and humid, but otherwise fine. You will find fewer businesses closed for slow season and holidays in August. Between the two, I'd go in September personally, though I would make it for Independence Day if you can. It's a blast.Regarding rain, it really depends. I find rain is usually brief and often overnight, but it really depends on the season. August and September both fall within hurricane season so anything can happen, but I wouldn't let that deter you from making plans.
Is mid-August through mid-September a good period to surf in San Diego, CA?
August and September are really only good for long boarding (1-3ft waves on average) unless a south comes in as Warren said. The water is usually at it's warmest going towards the end of Sept. and since all the kiddies are back at school, the beaches are usually pretty clear on the weekdays producing some nice relaxing, much less crowded sessions until people start to get off work of a day. It's especially nice in the mornings if you can get a weekday off work (or can play hooky). On the weekends, just like anywhere else in the summer, you'll want to either go really early (7-8am at the latest) or later (after 6pm) to avoid the crowds. Overall though, San Diego is not where you want to be if you want anything over waist high on a regular basis during that time.

Ummm… July , August or September?I am not sick or tired of answering even if it be the zillionth time that the month for visiting Shillong does not matter at all…your enthusiasm does!Cuz … the weather is quiet unpredictable and the months of August , September… rains arrive but that does not rule out any other month from the calender! It is said that you experience all the 4 seasons in a day here in Shillong.So don’t be disappointed… every month has something to offer to you! Hi Max.You don’t have a lot to worry: Even if there is rain, most of the attractions -like museums- are indoors. There is a sight-seeing tour, CapitalBus, which operates on two-deck retractil-roof buses, so you can see main monuments, sightseeing places and museums of downtown and Reforma Avenue area without problem if there is rain.I suggest to plan your trip on September 7th to 17th. That's because Mexican independence Day is September 16, so you can see all the National Holidays decorations and special activities -including a massive party at the Zocalo in Mexico City, "El Grito", with attendance of 250,000+ people including the President in main balcony of the National Palace, and the military parade of Sept. 16th. That's the "most mexican" days you can trip in Mexico.Enjoy!

If you wish to apply for Fall 2016 then I recommend July compared to september.If you are prepared and confident enough it is better to give it in july. Completion of GRE is not the final step as you have to give TOEFL/IELTS and then compile Statement of Purpose and Letters of Recommendation. These things are definitely gonna take a month or more than that. Applications for Universities will be opened in August, by then you can complete all the requisites and start applying.Applying early will avoid pressures you have to face with overlap in academic schedule which you have to face if you appear for GRE in september(If you are still studying).Hope this Helps.Thanks for A2A.
What clothing would you buy for a baby born at the end of August/ beginning of September?
my daughter was 6lbs 14oz and we did nb sizes for her for like the first 2 weeks then she was too big so get 0-3 months. you can have a few NB but have more 0-3. better to buy a little bigger since they are always growing. she was born on august 16 2008. we had a few summer outfits because it stays pretty warm until end of september we live in new hampshire. so i say have at least a weeks worth of summer clothes maybe a little more because babies spit up and what not. your baby shouldnt be wearing full outfits in the summer because they can over heat quickly since their body is so little. so get like 7 summer outfits and then some fall outfits. you probably will only use the summer outfits for about a month or so. good luck and congrats

Most US schools got out the beginning of June. US public school must be in session for a certain number of days for the school year. With the days off and thanksgiving, winter.spring break, schools start mid to late August to get in all days required to get out by June.
