What should I do if UPS never delivered my package?

Amazon Package Never arrived?
I ordered a dvd and paid 26$ for it. It's already a week past it's estimated arrival date. It shows as delivered but i never got the package. I asked my neighbor if he had taken the package for me (i'm away from my house quite often, and he usually takes the packages and gives them to me after i get home, because they don't fit in my small mailbox and the mail man just leaves them outside my mail box.) But he said nope. There's no option to contact the seller because the seller was amazon.com. What do i do? How can i contact them and let them know that the package never arrived?

My first hand experience. I bought close to $1000 worth of home items. I received about $300 worth of items and about $700 was not delivered even though status was delivered. I contacted amazon through chat on 9/22 Saturday night . They said they needed 72 hours to investigate. I called on Tuesday 9/25 since no one contacted me. They said they needed 72 hours business hours ok so I called 9/26. They said package was delivered and I said it wasn't. So they said I need a police report. I called the police got a police report in the mean time amazon sent me an email that basically it was delivered and it is out of their hands once carrier delivers. They advise to call USPS and local authorities.Everyone on here seems to think amazon will take care of you but the answer is yes if purchase is small but NO if you spent a lot of money in 1 order. I'm very disappointed in amazon as we spent thousands and thousands of dollars and this is how they treat me. They told me I'm a valued customer but I am not as they refuse to send me a replacement or refund.I called back and gave them a police report we will see what happens. But they're really giving me the run around. I would also advise on not using amazon prime credit card as other companies will probably issue you credit but since their credit card and amazon are the same company I will probably be SOL. I am so angry at this point I will sell my amazon stocks and take them to court and spread the word on how they treat their values customers. I've spent so much money and this is the only time i've hadproblems and this is how they treat me. And apparently customer service doesn't even know my name.

(Best option). They will guide you what you can do next.If you don’t work it out with Amazon (which is unlikely), then find out which carrier they used and contact them. Also contact your local post office. There may have been an error in the tracking info saying it’s delivered to your door, when it’s actually not.Look around your house. I have a friend that has found a package left for him under the porch (I guess it was raining that day and the delivery guy just put it there so it doesn’t get wet). My friend had no idea, the package didn’t require a signature, and weeks passed by until he finally checked under the porch. Found the package. :) An alternative is to get a better mail box (properly secured) so nobody can steal your items.I’ve had 2 instances where I didn’t receive my package (or maybe I did but someone stole it) and Amazon’s Customer Service helped me a ton! They are fast, friendly, and polite. I would have guessed that such a big company would outsource their customer service to a 3rd world country with low quality CS reps (which is what some other companies do), but to my surprise, they have a great CS team!
My Victorias Secret package never arrived, what can I do?
My parents ordered a pair of pajamas and slippers from VS for me but when they tracked the package it said it had arrived but it didn't. My dad called VS customer service and they sent another package free of charge even though it was worth $85. A few days later our neighbor dropped off the original package and said it had been delivered to his house.
USPS Lost my package?
I ordered $65 worth of tee-shirts from a website. I received a tracking number and tracked it until it reached my hometowns post office. On the 18th of this month it said "Out For Delivery". I thought awesome my package is on its way. The mail came. No package. So I called my local post office. The guy there said it was "weird" because it was scanned in my post office that morning. He said he would look around and call me back when all the mail carriers got back. So around 6 I get a call from the post office guy saying he talked to all the mail carriers and no one had my package. I didn't get a note on my mailbox or door. I looked all over my yard thinking the mailman might have put it in a bush or under the porch. For the record they have never done this before, I live in a low risk of theft area and usually the package is delivered right on the porch or in my mailbox. So he tells me the carrier didn't have it and he couldn't find it but he said maybe there was a chance it got shipped to their main facility and to give him until the 22nd. So I call on the 22nd and my package was not shipped to the main facility and seems to have disappeared into thin air and they are going to have to do some more investigating. I can still track it and all it says is "delivery status not updated". So it has been 3 business days (not including Sunday and MLK day) since my package was out for delivery. What should I do?

First you need to call this number 1(800) 222-1811 to let the USPS know there is a problem and they will do what they can to fix it. Call at these times for a live operator. 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Eastern Time (6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. CST) Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time (8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. CST) Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays (2008 Postal Holidays) Give them as much as information as you can such as the Custom Form number and anything they ask for, make sure you have your receipt with you when you call. As for the seller, all you can do is reassure them you are doing all you can possibly do to find out what happen to the Package. But be prepared to give them a refund if the package is lost. Next time insure the packages you send, it would be worth it regardless which carrier you send it.

You didn't lost it, you didn't even RECEIVED IT. Call Customer Service 1-800#, or email them. This is YAHOO, it's a World Wide Web and many of us have not even bought anything or work @ Pac Sun, FedEx, USPS. That happened to me, I hope you didn't use your Paypal. I got screwed just like you, and the merchant gave my refund back, they also added $10 for my troubles - but Paypal kept my money. LUCKILY, I have zero $$$ in my account. The money source came from my Discovery Credit Card, but once Paypal found out I was trying to get refund from Discover - since Paypal won't help me after 3 weeks . . . . they think I was trying to commit fraud. Three years doing my legwork, finally I got my credit back! SAVE all your correspondents, record every conversation, date, time, emails, etc.
