What Should I Do Since Im Moving

Should I give up on her since I'm moving?

If I were you, I would move. Here is why: 50% of marriages end up in divorce and you are talking about someone 'whom you are attracted to and have talked a lot'. What is the probability of this working out in the long term? 10% / 20%?You have 'a bird' in hand - that is the reason you are moving. On the other hand, if she is someone you will regret 1 year from now, 2 years from now, 5 years from now; then ask her to move with you? She will likely not agree because she also knows the '10%/ 20%' data point that you know.

How do I call into work because I'm moving?

Sorry in advance, this is gonna be long:

So two months ago I requested a day off, because I'm moving apartments and need to be there to sign my new lease, and get moved and all. Well a week later I put in another request off for a week of vacation (I still had not heard back about the request for the move date) & got a response the next day and was told no I couldn't have that week off, but still had not gotten the move date request back. So I asked about it, and my boss said that she would check on it, and I when I FINALLY got a response back from that, it was declined because there are already 2 people off (which doesn't make any sense to me because last week there were 5 people off work, & when I put the request in, there wasn't anyone off), but she said that she would "work something out". Well here we are, 2 months later, with my move date this Friday, and nothing has been "worked out." I've asked about it, and she said she didn't know, and kind of brushed it off. So my boyfriend and a few co-workers told me I should just call in sick and go on with the day, moving and all. I agree, I just don't know what to say. Because if I say I'm sick, my boss is going to know that I'm calling in because I need to move, & I'm afraid she'll threaten to fire me if I don't come in. I don't know if I could say I'm calling in for personal reasons, or I don't know. Any ideas?

Moving high schools junior year?

I just found out that i'm going to be moving schools next year, my junior year. I'm going to be attending a small private school with only 50 kids in my grade ( I currently attend a public school with over 2,000 students). Do you think that the kids will accept me since i'm going to be coming junior year? Also, i've never moved schools before, any tips about making friends at a new school?

How long should I wait after I feed my ball python before moving her back into her cage?

It's very smart to put her into a separate tank... it helps reduce the risk of being bitten when they get older...

I usually can pick them up right after they are done.... (once you know they are done because they have stopped "swallowing") but wtih newer snakes you might want to wait 5 minutes or so just to let the food settle. :D

Congrats on your new pet! =)

When do you tell your friends your moving?

Take it from an expert here, I have moved 6 times in my few years of life... I only moved countrys once though.. I moved to Australia from America.

Honestly, for me, there are TWO good parts about moving.

1. Getting pitty from your parents...hah cruel I know.
Your leaving your friends, and moving AROUND the world to start over, your going to miss them, and probably be a little sad, so your parents feel bad, and buy you things! Clothes, games... I know this is cruel, but honestly Its true...

2. Telling your friends/finding out who your true friends are.
When you tell them, your obviously going to get a lot of attention before you move, a lot of good attention, and they will be some of the best months of your life! You get to know your friends SO much better in these months because your spending as much time with them as possible before you leave.

After you move, thats where friendships start to crumble. Your busy making new friends, and they are busy with there lives back home. Its going to be hard, but you need to keep in contact with them. Email, texting, facebook, Skyping(video chat). and ESPECIALLY PHONE CALLS. I have a lot of my friends from all over the country that I call everyweek, and I still consider my best friends. The people who don't really care about you will just talk to you every once and a while. But your true friends will talk to you all the time! Also its a test to see if they come and visit you... When they come and visit you for a week or something, those are the friends you know will be your friends FOR LIFE. Two of my friends spent ALL YEAR saving up money for airplane tickets to see me the summer after I moved, And guess who had the two best weeks of our LIVES!

OKAYYY! HERES THE REALLL QUESTION! : : :

Well, to just tell them, you can say that you've got important news to tell them after school that will change your life. Let them get used to that Idea, before school or something, so that they will have time to sink it in. They after school tell them.."Hey guys.. I'm moving". Then they will ask questions, possibly crying...It will be sad.

Good Luckkk(:
