What Should I Do To Sleep

What should I do? I can't sleep...?

I also have sleeping problems. Here is a list of things the doctor told me to try that do seem to help...Don't eat anything after 7pm, Don't drink anything with caffeine after 5pm (soda, coffee, tea),
do all chores and work early(try to have all your housework or homework done by 8pm), turn your alarm clock to where you can't see the time from your bed(sometimes when you wake up in the middle of the night and look at the clock that puts stress on you to go back to sleep, if you don't know the time you will fall asleep because you are tired not because it's 4am), and the one that seemed to help me the most is do something relaxing for at least 1 hour before you go to bed (take a hot shower, watch your favorite tv show, listen to your favorite music, read a good book, or write in a journal). Leave all your problems and stresses at your bedroom door. Don't go to bed worrying about problems or stress. Have a clear mind when you lay down to try to sleep. I hope this helps you. It has helped me some.

I can't sleep what should i do?

1. Just think of sleep, don't make lists before you go to bed or your mind will be active until you complete your list...
2. Don't take a shower before bed, that will wake you up
3. Exercise about three hours before your bedtime, that should make you sleepy
4. No sugar or soda or chocolate or coffee before bed...
5. Do you have a dark room- lights on or galring in the windows will keep you up
6. Get up out of bed earlier and go outside, allow yourself to feel some sunshine..Vitamin D is a natural sleep aid
7. Don't read, that's another way to activate your mind
8. don't set an alarm clock! Don;t even think about having to get up in the morning!
9. Lay down flat in a quiet, comfortable place free from distractions, allow your mind to become weightless, slowly imagine your body getting lighter and lighter starting slowly from the tips of your toes to your feet to your ankels to you shins to your thighs to your hips to your stomach to the tips of your fingers to your hands to your wrists to your forearms to your elbows to your chest to your back to your neck to your chin your face and up to the top of your head, breathe three deep breaths slowly, allowing yourself to breathe in 5 seconds hold for three second and exhale count to 4 and repeat twice, no lay there and you will sleep!

I want to sleep but I can't. What should I do?

Many good answers already, I will recommend what works for me,Create neuro association for your body to get a signal from the mind to prepare for sleep; habitual actions like changing into the sleeping suit do that pretty well.Stay away from technology at least 2 hours prior to bed time.Calm and relax yourself before going to bed. I use breathing exercises through this app Breathe: Energize Relax Meditate Stress Exercises - Apps on Google Play. 5 Meditate breaths do the trick for me and calm me down quite well.Use a sleep aid; like i use binaural beats through Binaural Beats Meditation Brain Waves Sleep, Relax - Apps on Google Play; these are brain waves and help in impacting deep sleep.Hope this helps.

It's 5am. I can't sleep. What should I do?

I have Insomnia and believe me it's hard to deal with.
I'm in the UK and it's 5am (well, nearly it's 4:56am but its only a few minutes to 5 so I count it as 5 anyway) and if I read a book, watch tv, or even do nothing I still won't be able to go to sleep.
Reading a book, watching tv, or doing anything will make me wake up.
What should I do?

What should I do? I'm sleepy :( but I have to study?

I''m in college and t's exam week. I've been up 96 hours already and I'm still studying. I have 2 tests tomorrow plus I have to meet my group to work on a project tomorrow. I'm gonna be studying all weekend too for a monday morning exam, plus I have 2 insane term papers to work on So it' not like I'm gonna sleep this weekend.
I'm so tired I can't comprehend anything. But right now I'm studying for a class that I haven't known what's going on in for a loooonnnggg time so I absolutely have to study or else I"ll fail
I'm scared of dropping dead from not sleeping. I have done this pretty much every week for years, and I at least stay up 3-4 nights a week in a row, each and every week. It feels normal almost, but I don't wanna die and I feel like my body or heart will just stop or something.
Never mind that, tell me how to study when I'm so tired..coffee can only do so much
This is not even worth it. smh :/
