How is the workplace affected by computer problems?

We deal with customers everyday. If our systems our down the biggest effect is the efficiency that we can run our office and service our customers. For each transaction without a computer processing the order, a manual order has to be taken (slower and more room for errors). When the systems finally come back up....you have to continue to wait on new customers while re-entering all the old manual orders. The employees tend to get pretty frustrated with repeated computer issues and will cause them to socialize more because they don't want to deal with new customers due to the 'double work load'.

Does Runescape slow down your computer ?

ok i didnt like the other answers so i felt compelled to right my own. dont worry runescape is absolutely harmless and will not harm your computer. all it does is store a little cache on your computer so it can start up faster the next time. the game is all on internet servers so there is no downloads and no virus risks. runescape is made by jagex which is a reputable gaming company and if the game seems laggy its probably the jagex servers. or your internet speed, not the computer.
happy gaming

Why does shutting down and restarting your computer make it run faster?

Often the operating system or any one of the applications running on your computer or mobile device encounters an error. Your device could get so bury, using more and more of its computing power on dealing with the error condition, this leaves less and less CPU power to service your needs so you experience it as your devote getting slower and slower (i.e. its busy with something else so it doesn't have time to take care of what you want to do).If the error is severe it will crash, causing it to stop operating. Sometimes the device will shut down and restart itself, sometimes its hopelessly stuck so it just sits there and does nothing.Shutting it down wipes out all apps and operating system from memory and then restarting the device (desktop or mobile) causes it to load a fresh copy of the operating system so it can boot up and operate normally (without the error that caused the problem. As you now launch each app that you want to use, the operating system has to load a fresh copy of that app into memory, which also does not have that error in it so now your device runs quickly (normally) and everything feels fine.It will continue to work fine until the same set of circumstances is encountered that causes the problem to occur again. If the problem does occur again, you should note which application is causing the problem and install a fresh copy of that application. If you have replaced all the suspected applications with fresh copies (make sure they are all updated to the latest version) then you will have to install a fresh copy of the operating system. If this still does not work the yo have to make sure that you have a good backup of your entire system, then you wipe the entire system and install the latest version of the operating system, the latest version of the applications and then all your personal files (photos, music, pictures, videos, etc.) and by this point to should be working ok.

Why does porn keep coming up on my computer?

Okay so recently I've been having a problem with porn sites suddenly coming up when I'm on a website.

Today, I was going on a site called fogu.com (it's a forum for a farming game called Harvest Moon that i play) when suddenly a website popped up and it was like called "hot teens" and a bunch of videos came up.

Anyway, I closed the window and didn't watch anything, but i'm scared these sites keep coming up because my computer has a virus. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening again??
