What Should I Do With My Life Like Major In And Stuff

What is your major concern in life?

Seeing my life slipping away from my own hands...even though im trying the best i can to get hold of it! I might never ever be happy again in my life

I draw real-life stuff. What major should I go into?

Well you can prepare for an all school art school. Well you can go into general arts as a major, there are a lot of programs out there that help you reach your art career, but you can always contact the college, and see if they offer pre art which they probably do, the go on to art school. Below is a list of majors you can go into. I think fine art, general arts, and advertising major. Advertising major is just like you say for logos and text, but the other ones are for drawing paintings and such.

What should one do to make a big step towards a major life revamp at age 27?

Some great advice along here, so definitely read the posts. One of the ways I approach this exact problem is: What do I want my average week to be like? Most of our lives is spent in the day-to-day. Big vacations, job shifts, moving, getting married, having kids are all singular moments in life. Great ones that define us, but also just short periods of time. Most of our days are spent in the mundane. An exercise: imagine it's Monday morning. What time are you getting up? What are you doing before work? What do you want to do after work? Now think about that M-F. Different nights might have different answers, so think about those. The weekends, how do you want to spend them? Do you enjoy gardening or yard work? Do you want to take day trips and go hiking? Maybe working weekends doesn't bother you, and you'd prefer to have time off in the middle of the week. What you define with this exercise is what NOT to go after. Want to sleep in until noon? Then you aren't working for the government - or contracting with anyone who does. Hate to do yard work? Then don't buy a big house with a yard. Those things will narrow your search down. Eliminate the work that doesn't fit with the activities that make you happy. The next thing to do is find the skills that are in the fields that best fit your desired lifestyle. What is it that you can do well that will get you paid (enough). The best jobs are the ones that cross over into enjoyment. Always remember its how you look at the work not necessarily what the work is, fulfillment comes from within. How much you earn will affect your stress levels. Focus on earning enough to make a living, save for retirement and do some fun stuff. Build a buffer so you can say 'no'. Having some money to go unemployed for a while will give you control over your life more than anything else.Strength's Finder 2.0 is a great book, it's about $15 on Amazon and you can learn a lot about yourself in a very short while. It lets you know what your competencies are, and how they can be deployed in the work world. Once you understand where you are strong then you can look for work or business that leverages your strengths.Good luck!

What should I do with my life if I like building stuff in detail but am not academically smart enough to be an engineer?

Take a job with someone in a trade.  Learn from that person directly.  Electrical, plumbing, auto repair, all require someone to be thinking in detail to do a good job.  When you learn how to do it from someone who is an expert, you won't have to think of every possible contingency, because you'll learn to know what limits you need to focus on.It's called getting an apprenticeship can be a great way to learn a business.  Getting an actual job as an electrician takes a few years as an apprentice, and there are classes you can take to improve your skills, like this: Electrician Apprenticeships: Preparing to Become an Electrician.  But in most places, it is not a requirement to take those courses.  Generally, there is a test to take later, but by the time you've worked under someone for a few years, you'll do fine on a test. There will always be work to be had, and money to be made, for people who can build things and keep them running. If you're not sure what you want to try, look up a local trade school (Google your home town/city and "trade school" to find it) and see what options they offer.  Where I live, trade schools will help students find apprenticeships.

Help why do I always get bored of my major?

Ok well my major is 2 yr IT,anyways I sometimes get bored of it. Like some of the classes aren't as interesting as I thought they would be. I love computers & all but I am more into making websites stuff like that. But all I'm learning is database of windows stuff like that.

I suck at Math and its my major what should I do?

Math is not an easy subject. Just because you were great throughout the whole Calc series, and rocked Linear Algebra, the topics are going to get more and more complex. You have to study a lot. And I can't emphasize that enough... A LOT!

If you fail a class, don't give up. Just take it again. It doesn't mean you are stupid, it just means you need another go at it. But if you study everyday, read your texts and do all the problems in the book then it should be impossible to fail. If you are really struggling, talk to the prof.

If you're a senior DO NOT CHANGE YOUR MAJOR. Your degree can actually have surprisingly little to do with what your career will end up being. A college degree gets your foot in the door. After that its your experience that will take you.

Good luck! Don't give up.
