What are you getting your kids for Christmas?
My kids are 21 months and 9 months, and I've got them a climbing castle between them for outdoors, with a toddler's outdoor table and chairs. They've each got for under the tree: 2 books each, 3 or 4 toys like Wiggles characters and Fisher Price baby toys, some blocks and puzzles and their stockings. I just got them a variety of things that relate to their interests (they both adore the Wiggles!), such as music, climbing, dancing, etc, and tried to get them things that they'll continue to use over the next year or so. I'm sure anything you get your children will be perfectly fine. You should be so proud of your kids, they are so sweet for saying they'll love whatever they get, and it's nice to hear some kids aren't completely spoiled rotten and materialistic! Merry Christmas!

What is the perfect gift to give a guy for Christmas?
Ok, I know it is a little early to be thinking about what I should get my boyfriend for Christmas but I really want it to be special this week. I have never really gotten my boyfriend anything good for Christmas so I would really like to get him something awesome because i love him so much! He's really into puzzles and computers and xbox (yes he is kinda a nerd) but he also plays basketball and football. Any suggestions?
I can't afford Christmas gifts this year. Do I tell my kids the truth about Santa or say they were bad?
Let them have fun with Santa for a while longer, they are very young. However it is a great time to teach them of the true meaning of Christmas... giving and that it's the thought that counts. Tell them that this year Santa can't visit lots of kids because he has no more room in his sleigh. Make your kids something special, maybe a photo collage of all of you together or something like that that they can treasure forever. Explain on Christmas Day that it is more important to be with your loved ones than it is to get presents. They are too young to know what a lack of money is but telling them they are bad isn't the answer either. Merry Christmas

There is no age limit to receive gifts for Christmas. Are you the same guy who was too old for Halloween too? There was a similar post yesterday about a 14 yr old that wanted to trick or treat.... I think if you are, then your parents are looking for any excuse to make your life miserable, lol. My parents gave me several gifts last year, and I am 35 yrs old. Sounds like your parents are either really pissed at you, or are looking for a way out of spending money that they don't really have. My advice would be to evaluate your recent behavior. Have you recently decided to no longer do things that your parents expect of you, on the grounds that you are too old? I think they may be trying to give you a bit of your own medicine.... For example, the other day my son told me he didn't eat anything that was GREEN when I told him to eat his green beans. Well, that statement bit him right in the butt, when we had mint chocolate chip ice cream for dessert! You may want to think really hard about how you have been acting and responding to your parents, and see if you can think of any reason the problem may have originated with your behavior. Also, the things that you want do not have to come in present form! If you really want that scooter or that xbox 360, you may need to start doing odd jobs, and earn the money yourself. With the economy being the way it is, your parents may not be able to afford to get you what you want. Look for ways to help out around the house, go the extra mile for them, and then when you ask for things that you want, they will be way more willing to give them to you.
Should I buy a PS4 or an Xbox One S?
The choice of console is entirely dependant on what you would like from the console. Both have pros and cons. Weigh these up, the PS4 has many exclusives just like the Xbox One S does. The PS4 performs astonishingly but so does the Xbox One S. The Xbox One S I believe is capable of being connected to any Windows 10 devices you have increasing its functionality. Weigh up the controller difference, the Dualshock 4 is a rounder pad compared to the Xbox One S. The choice is yours, personally I would opt for the PS4 because I own one but it is designed primarily with gaming whereas the Xbox One S has more functionality design involved. Hope whichever you choose you are happy with.

My daughter is three and a half... and I've built a career largely anchored in childrens toys, games, and products, so I personally know a people who are up to some very cool things and I don't hesitate to shamelessly plug my friends. Why should I buy an Xbox One X in 2018 when all the rumours say Microsoft will launch a new console in 2020?
You kinda answered your own question there… because rumors are just that: rumors. There is no guarantee that the next-gen consoles will launch in 2020.Even if they do, the release pattern shows that new hardware is usually launched towards the end of the year, AKA holiday season. Following that pattern, it is likely that we won’t see a new console until the end of 2020 at the very soonest.So, that is just under 2 years. I was recently in the same debate with myself, actually. I had an Xbox One S and was trying to decide if it was worth it to upgrade to the One X (and also upgrade my TV to a 4K model). I ended up (somewhat impulsively) upgrading both around Black Friday, and I will say that I am very happy with my decision. I ended up spending around $550 for the console and TV, both brand new (55″ 4K UHD TV = $350, Xbox One X = $399, Sold my old TV & Xbox One S for $200 to a friend, bringing the gross total to ~$550).The difference was immediately noticeable. Games loaded faster, ran smoother, rendered quicker, and graphics were much sharper and more vibrant. I would even go as far as to say it gives you a slight advantage when playing online competitive games, as you rarely have to deal with FPS drops or rendering issues (with games like PUBG where seeing enemies can be a challenge of its own, it certainly gives you an edge at greater distances).That all being said, I am a pretty avid gamer. I spend probably 20–30 hours/week playing video games (that will probably have to drop when my daughter is born in May, bittersweet), so to me the money invested is well justified as more of a hobby than just a recreational activity. I always recommend the One S to friends who are more casual gamers.

Oh yes, of course. That movie is horribly dated and sexist and racist and homophobic.They should change it so Ralphie wants a barbie doll and a new dress for Christmas. Instead of the crazy rabbits suits they get for christmas from their aunt, they should be receiving new panties and bras to show that modern boys actually dress like girls.There are no black people in the movie so the movie is obviously racist.
