What Should I Get These People For Christmas

How can I help homeless people on Christmas?

There are any number of organizations that provide hot meals or places to shower. Others that provide warm clothing and medical treatment. But also consider that homelessness minus children tends to minimize Christmas. They need safety and warmth and food all year round. Why not make a gift of yourself to an org. that works year-round rather than just one holiday. That will help provide more of what these people need.

Why do people get so upset about decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving?

My opinion?

I get tired of Christmas decorations after about 3-4 weeks. I wish more stores wouldn't be so eager for Christmas to come. I need to enjoy the other holidays too. Otherwise, the meaning of Christmas just seems to get lost.

I understand that some stores might need to put up decorations early. Before Thanksgiving, I have no problem with an occasional Christmas decoration here or there. But when a business overdoes it, I avoid entering the store. It doesn't mean that I hate that business. I just want to keep my sanity intact :)

What should I get my brother for Christmas?

I'm 24 and I have two younger brothers, one 23 and one 22. For some reason I have so many awesome ideas for the youngest who is usually the hardest to shop for and I can't think of anything for the other. Like I said he's 23, he likes golfing and fishing. He's a Harry Potter fan which is something we bond over, and he's my scary movie buddy. Any suggestions will be great. He's awesome and always super appreciative of anything I give him, but I think I've run out of cool ideas. Thanks!

Who should I get Christmas cards for?

There is no obligation to give Christmas Cards.  Give them to the people you really think need a card from you and you want to send one to.  Out of town people you love.  In-town people you don't see as much as you want to.  If you see these people all the time, wish them a very Merry Christmas but only if they are Christian.

What are the things people tend to gift during christmas?

I've come across a unique christmas present! I think it can also be used as a wedding or christmas gift. It's a mosaic painting made from diamonds. Really difficult to describe it but I think it's a great interior present. I bought mine from Etsy (product) :) https://www.etsy.com/listing/254146187/mosaic-wall-art-interior-decor-mosaic

Why do people send a picture of their family instead of a Christmas card? Why do they write nothing inside?

It's a way of maintaining a connection, and it's more personal than just a commercial, non-personalized card. I assume that people who do this have a long list of people they send cards to, and it would take considerable time to write a note to each of them. I don't think most people have time to write personalized notes to anyone they don't have a close relationship with.I like getting these cards, especially if they're from people I don't see a lot. I get to see how the kids have grown, which is often amazing. Sometimes the card is a collage of the family activities during the year, which is also fun to look at.

Do people get into the Christmas spirit in southern Florida (or in any year-round warm climate) as intensely as those who live in cold climates during that time of year?

It is just as festive if not more. I was born in New Hampshire, so I have had a few white Christmas experiences. I've also lived in Kansas, Up State NY, Colorado, Massachusetts, Italy, and Germany. Warm climates are way better.First, let me point out that the first Christmas was in the deserts of Isreal. So, if you want traditional, go to Arizona. Second, I can decorate my house and not risk freezing to death or slipping on ice. And it shoes in Florida. You'll see entire neighborhoods dressed and decorated to excess in Florida. Texas and Arizona does it too. I was so disappointed with Colorado. It snowed the week of Thanksgiving, so people didn't decorate until mid December. And the parties are better. BBQ, pigs in in the ground, sea food boils, cold beer and mulled wine, horseshoes, corn hole, volleyball and the kids can get after it with their newly acquired gear.White Christmases are pretty, but they're over rated. Christmas isn't about snow and winter stuff. It's about family and friends and enjoying life. It's a lot easier to do that when you don't have to risk driving through a frozen tundra
