What Should I Play Skyrim Or Fallout New Vegas Im Haveing Trouble Decideing

Dishonoured or Fallout: New Vegas?

There is a Bethesda sale on the Xbox and I can't decide which one to get. I will get them both eventually but at the moment I only want to buy one. I really like the sound of Dishonoured and I also really enjoyed Thief but people seem to say Dishonoured is better. So is it similar to Thief in anyway? As in the gameplay? I also keep meaning to play the Fallout games because I love The Elder Scrolls and people say it's just like TES but with guns.

Logically I think I should go with Fallout: New Vegas since Fallout 4 is coming out in November. But I am really attracted to Dishonoured and I'm sort of leaning towards that at the moment. Can you guys help me decide?

Dark Souls or Fallout: New Vegas?

I'd have to root for Fallout/Fallout NV as well. I loved the free roaming, plus the fact that there's tons of things, quests, side-stories to discover. I also liked the reputation and karma system. Personally I find nothing wrong with the graphics either. If you want there are also mods with improved graphics available. In terms of difficulty you also have a lot of choice, as you can change it on the fly. FNV also has a hardcore mod where you have to worry about food and drink and consequently about radiation (since most food and drink is irradiated). Inventory management in hardcore is also more of an issue, as many items which are "weightless" in normal mode (stimpacks, ammo, ...) will weigh you down. This mode you choose after leaving the first building and can only be changed by starting a new character.

I could go on, but suffice it to say that I logged hundreds and hundreds of hours in each of the Fallout games and enjoyed every minute spent in the wasteland.

I have not played DS, but some of my friends have and they liked it, though they unilaterally complained about the difficulty / frustration-factor.

In any case, have fun and enjoy your holiday (OMG, a couple of *months*, lucky you...)

Assassins creed Revelations or Fallout New Vegas?

By all means do not get Fallout New Vegas for the PS3 not because its a bad game but because its almost unplayable 20 hours in because of the massive frame rate drop, trust me on this get it for the PC or 360, I have the Ultimate Edition for the PS3... Do not buy Bethesda games for the PS3... If you don't believe me do some research for New Vegas on PS3 problems, Bethesda themselves acknowledges this and does nothing about...

Revelations on the other hand, I enjoyed the single player but its something you only play once and the multiplayer is a good change from the usual FPS... If youre not a fan of the AC series then you shouldn't even bother with Revelations, but for me it was the best game in the AC series so far and the best ending too by far...

You should probably just save up for Darksiders 2...

Has anyone played Fallout 4 for hours without even finishing the game?

My first playthrough, I sat in Red Rocket for ages trying to figure out exactly how everything worked, down to the little niches like how to do this:The guard post is sticking out quite a bit, it looks great on watchtowers. So, I finally decide that the town over the…..wait a second what’s that? I spot a little device sitting half in the water near sanctuary, and decide that is cooler than a regular town, so I investigate, and find the .44, some radaway and caps, and then get attacked by 3 raiders and a dog, all of whom die exceptionally quickly. Then I spot a new location on my compass ,and go to that as well…This goes on until over 100 hours have passed and I’m slightly bored, so I FINALLY go into the town and find the Minutemen, and from there start doing the quests. At this point, I’ve already found Diamond city, and the Combat Zone, and Goodneighbour. So, I’m pretty surprised how they think I’ve not already been around the world. So, from then on, I sort of just locked in on doing the main questline, and did it as the Institute, even though I HATE laser/plasma weapons. Give me a .44 Pistol and a .45 Submachine gun any day.Final tally before even starting on the main quest: about 120 hours. Then it took me about 10/20 hours because of my level of equipment already obtained.

As a big fan of Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, will I enjoy (is it worth buying) Elder Scrolls Skyrim?

I think it's a worthwhile buy.I know you had difficulty with Morrowind, honestly, i did at first too, it's a slow starter and a little hard on a noob. But I tried it again after a half year or so, and it turned out to be one of my favourite games, you just need to get over the initial hurdles. I'm not saying you should go back and play though, if you're going to revisit the series, I'd recommend starting off on Skyrim, here's a few of it's finer points.- the levelling system is less rigid and more beginner friendly- the perk system makes it feel more personal- dragons- more crafting choices- more combat options, dual wielding- better magic, streamlined a great deal, but more effective. Dual wielding spells allows you to overpower them as well.- dragons- better archery- the scenery is amazing, even on a console, walking around the landscape is just amazing.- dragonsThere's no guarantee you'll like it, honestly. That's something only you can decide. The two games have the same creator though, and there are some similarities, I suppose it just depends on whether one prefers sci-fi or high fantasy. Personally, I preferred the Elder Scrolls series, I'm more a fantasy nerd, but I still Enjoyed the Fallout series, I just found the landscapes a little drab when held up to their fantasy sibling. And did I mention the dragons? So far the best dragons in a video game, but do yourself a favour if you do decide to play it, don't turn the difficulty down, if you can manage it, start on hard, it's more rewarding.
