You need to enter serial number of your iPhone, to check the applicability of warranty. And you don't need to take your iPhone to Apple Store for configuring it, you can configure yourself, it's pretty easy. And When you have purchased an Apple product, you can create free Apple ID.So, if your iPhone is genuine you can create free Apple ID and you will get Warranty for 1 year.

It does. Any apple id you make with a new phone or device has to option to make an icloud account.Is it good? It's decent… It only is available on thier devices. compared to Gmail and Hotmail it's at the bottom of the list. I rarely at my time at Apple saw people using it as thier main email. How good is the Apple customer service in India?
I am dissatisfied from the authorized Apple service center. On 1 may 2015, I purchased IPhone 5s and from the day one, I am complaining service center regarding battery drainage, network issue, heating issue. Also, I got a duplicate data cable and adapter. Within 2 months I visited 4 times service center. These people are not able to resolve the issue. I requested them for replacement but they are not replacing. On May 5, 2015 I went to the B2X service center in Chennai regarding network issue, battery drainage and heating issue while charging. Then they asked their technical team to check and they updated iOS then also they said charger was duplicate. I bought a new charger of cost Rs 3000 but still problem was there. I visited same service center in Delhi and they did the same thing but all in vain still problem was there. On 15 Jul 2015 a small pink color spot start appearing at left hand side bottom and then it slowly and gradually converting in back then it starts floating like liquid and become a big spot. As per your service center employee it is because of pressure. It’s not because of pressure. The same day I visted 3 service centers all having different viewsAfter Visting the service center when i spoke to senior employee of Future World, New Delhi and told him the whole story and what he found charger was not duplicate.Now I am going to consume court for the same filing a case against Apple, Future World, and B2X. Also contacting media for the same.Because Applle and their service provider are just fooling customers in terms of brand. I was simply requesting you people for replacing the phone from the day one. I need a solution and I am not going to pay 21000 bucks for replacement. It’s still under warranty.Please advise your service center stop harassing the customers.
Why does Apple stop providing support to the older iPhones?
iPhone 5 was launched in 2012. It was the first phone to be launched after the Jobs era and last 32-bit phone from Apple.When Apple came with iPhone 5S, it was the first phone to have a fingerprint scanner with a 64 bit OS. Later came up other models like 6, 6S, Plus, 7, 7S, etc… all the above phones run on 64 bit OS.Now does it even make sense to make a custom made 32 bit OS for a phone which hasn’t seen much sales since the last 2 years (people preferred to buy iPhone 5S over iPhone 5) and a negligible number of users are the ones who still use the phone which they purchased 4 years ago? No. It doesn’t make business sense. In-spite of all this, it got 5 year software update from Apple, do you expect a better service than this?Coming to hardware replacement, a part of Apple iPhone roughly costs around $50-$75 which doesn’t make sense for any customer to replace the part for which a small addition and a good exchange offer would get them a better model of an Apple iPhone. Tech support isn’t lost, it is just not available officially. No company would refuse to help their customer only because their phone is an outdated one.User Experience. 5% of the total iPhone Users (rough estimate) use iPhone 5. They would surely migrate to iPhone SE or iPhone 6 after 2–3 years of usage. Adoption of software and User experience of the customers would improve rather deteriorate on their new device. The user experience for people who still stay with iPhone 5 won’t be bad as people with Android ICS on their devices.
