Why is my duck trying to eat its own poop?
That is a pretty normal thing. My ducks will pick up their pop on occasion thinking it is something else then they spit it back out. Sometimes it takes a little while for them to figure it out or it could be your duck just enjoys the texture. If you don't have food out for it all the time try giving it a larger tray of food, there is a chance it may feel like it is not getting enough to eat. At any rate I wouldn't worry ducks will from time to time pick up things like pebbles, bark, and poop, if by chance they do swallow their systems are tough enough to handle it and in fact they do need sand and dirt in their diet which helps break up their food and makes up for their lacking of teeth.

I think dogs can eat anything we eat, but some foods wouldn't be suitable. I know they like meat, but try to give em Dog Food.

Chocolate covered ants were popular at one time. Maybe they can still be purchased on line. I am not a fan of insects as food. We get enough insects in our processed food. FDA allows a certain percentage to remain in our food. This is all I have here. Carry on.
What should I try if I've never eaten sushi?
You should start with a really fatty cut of raw salmon. The farmed stuff from Norway is ideal as it has a subtle buttery flavour and it is not chewy or slimy at all. It also doesn't really taste fishy. If you feel a little schemish at this point you van get it with mayonnaise and chopped onions.Next you can try to cooked eel or shrimp. After that you can try egg omelette sushi. I would also suggest trying a Charishadon. This is a rice bowl with chopped raw fish.
What should I eat when I get hungry late at night?
If Jello makes you happy, you can't go wrong with that. Especially Jello Lite. Light popcorn is a good snack because you can eat quite a bit with very few calories. Drink lots of water as well. Eat baby carrots til your eyes turn orange, they're great. With fruit you have to be careful- they can be pretty high in calories. Grapes are satisfying...and strawberries and other berries are low in calories.
Do male dogs try to eat or kill new born puppies?
Hello, and congrats on the impending litter! This is also one of those things that needs to be judged on a dog-by-dog basis. In other words, first assume that he *will* kill the puppies. Then, go from there. Male dogs *are* known to kill puppies, as others have said, and dogs are known for acting "not quite like themselves" when there is a litter around. Some of their behaviors may surprise you... It is always the best practice to keep the males as far away from the puppies as possible, not only for their safety, but for the peace-of-mind of the female, too. It can really stress them out to have the male in sight when nursing. I've even seen them get angry and spin across a puppy to charge a male who's gotten too close... Puppy was fine, but it scared the heck out of me! She saw the male's ear around the corner, across the room, and that was all it took... My two Boston Terrier males are very good with puppies (determined slowly and carefully with *each* new litter), but I do not give them a chance to get near them until mom is ready to allow it. This usually happens around three to four weeks old, but my males are very gentle. (If they weren't, I would not let them near them at all.) And then, they sniff them through my hands. That way, if they *did* choose to nip, they'd get my hand first. I never let them be around the puppies, even at 8 weeks old, without very strict supervision. Like others have mentioned, if your male hasn't seen puppies before, he may not immediately realize the difference between them and a small rodent. On top of that are all of the reasons Mother Nature gives them for doing such things... Best to err on the side of caution. Best of luck to you!
Hung over, hungry, but cannot eat. What should I try?
I had some drinks last night, and have got a bit of a hangover going for me now. Its all in the stomach, no headache (yet). I havent eaten since 6pm yesterday night. I am terribly hungry now, but cannot seem to force down anything I try to eat. I have to work soon, any suggestions? (Calling into work is not an option).
Why does my cat keep trying to eat cigarettes?
My orange tabby, Frankie, is always stealing cigarettes and then trying to eat them. He'll take them out of a pack or steal butts from an ash tray. Does anyone else have this problem? It's not like anyone makes a feline nicotine patch, so I don't know what to do.
