What to do/wear when going into a dollar general interview?
Background: This is my first job i applied for in my life. I am inexperienced. I am applying for a sales associate. What i think the answer is: wear a dark polo with black khakis to better emulate the common dollar general workers clothing. I want to know if i have that right and what to expect when called into an interview, such as what question should I expect to be asked. so that I can better prepare for the interview. all reasonable answers are helpful. thank you for any help.
What do I wear to my Dollar Tree interview?
I would wear something clean, neat pressed. Jeans are fine if they are in good condition. The main thing is be presentable. In todays world and at the dollar tree they understand that many people don't have fancy interview duds. Clean pressed jeans, a nice shirt and decent shoes are fine.. the thing is clean, presentable and smile... the attitude is the bulk of the hiring process.

Dress appropriate for the position you are interviewing for.If you are going for a management position, wear business appropriate attire. A suit, or at least dress slacks, dress shirt and tie. A blazer is a plus. for women a business suit is good.For an associate position, i.e. non-management, your safest bet is khaki or black pants, white or navy collared shirt. Those align with the dress code and shows you have already embraced the culture of the business.As always good hygiene is a must. Nothing over the top by way of makeup, accessories, perfume etc.
