What Should I Wear To A September Wedding

Can I wear a light gray suit to an early September wedding?

I think that would be very appropriate. I actually had an early September wedding and the Groom/Groomsmen/Father's all wore a dark charcoal gray tux and I was in ivory gown. I think the color is nice for a late summer/early fall occasion. I think the suit you selected is sharp! If possible, I would consider pairing it with the green in the picture... or a nice crisp blue would look great as well.

Great choice.

What do guys wear at a wedding?

Most adult men wear suits to weddings. However, if you don't have one and can't afford to buy one, you could certainly wear slacks/nice khakis (not jeans or cargo pants), a collared button-down shirt, a tie, and a blazer/jacket. If you don't have a jacket, you can probably borrow one from a brother, dad, or friend who is close to your size.

It's never a bad idea to have a classic black suit in your closet, for weddings/funerals/job interviews/etc - if you're looking to buy one, this might be a good time to make the investment!

What to wear to a September New England wedding?

Your attire really has zero to do with what the wedding party is wearing. Although you will be the date of a groomsman, you can be certain that you will not be required to be in the wedding photographs. Therefore your choice of clothing has no bearing on what the bride has chooses for her bridal party to wear.

Play it safe and wear something conservative and classy. My mother always told me it is womanly to show a little cleavage and a little leg, but NEVER both at the same time. That advise has never steered me in the wrong direction.

What to wear in New England in September??? I would not worry so much about the weather because all indoor events are temperature controlled. A little black dress that is not tooo little is a perfect choice. Plan on wearing very sheer black nylons which will look great if it is hot or chilly outside. And, a pearl necklace screams sophistication.

Can I wear a suit at a wedding in the month of September in Punjab?

If your suit is made up of a fabric that is suitable only for harsh winters of January then, in my opinion you will not be able to wear it in September as it is still quite hot in September. But, AFAIK, most of the party wear suits are generally made up of fabrics that can be worn throughout the year though you may feel a little cold in winters. If that is the case, then go ahead.

Should people wear sandals in september?

Yeah, I wear them all the time with long skinny jeans.

Can we wear a suit for a summer wedding?

Yes, you can definitely wear a suit for a summer wedding although you must keep in mind that the color of that suit must be light. Light colored 2-piece suits are preferred by most of the men in summer weddings. It is best to go with a summer-ready pink or cream colored suit. These light colored suits will ensure that your body temperature remains at a normal level and you don't feel exhausted.

What should I wear to a Korean Wedding?

A navy dress suit would be fine as long as it doesn't resemble a uniform. If you are worried about the dark color being associated with mourning of someone recently deceased, the color white is traditionally the color of mourning in Korea as well as China. For some ideas, I have included a link to a Korean Fashion website:

Have a great time. The food at Korean weddings is the bomb. Try the jopchae (clear noodles)

What should my groom wear to our wedding?

I know you want your fiance to look his best on your wedding day. I live in Southern California and true to Southern Cali tradition, we had a horribly HOT October. My wedding day was October 22 and the high was about 85 that day during our 2 o'clock wedding. My husband wore his tux, as did the groomsman and my father.

It's just something that you do if you're planning on having a formal wedding. I personally think that him wearing the casual clothes would be a little tacky and just wouldn't look right if you're wearing the traditional gown. When you get married, the weather is the risk you take when setting a date so far in advance and you just have to deal with it. He'll be hot, sure, but after the ceremony and pictures, he can take the jacket off.

I just think you're going to look back on your wedding photos and regret him not wearing a tux. If this were a more casual-dress wedding, ok then, but it's not and he's going to stick out like a sore thumb. Just suck it up for the day.

My daughter is getting married in September. Wedding is outdoor casual (no ties, suspenders instead). What should I wear?

Your best bet is to ask the bride. Most of the strict rules for weddings have gone by the wayside except in the most formal affairs. This makes it much harder for people to know what to wear.In fact, asking the bride is probably the correct answer to most questions regarding a daughter’s wedding. If she wants you in striped shorts and plaid suspenders, smile and hitch up your suspenders.Making the bride happy is always a good idea.

Which Silk saree is best to wear in wedding day?

There are mainly 4 types of silks: (i) Mulburry, (ii) Muga, (iii) Tussore, and (iv) Eri silk. Of all the states/cities that specialize in silk sarees, southern part of India tends to dominate! Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu are the major hubs of Indian silk industry. The traditional silk sarees like the Kanjeevaram sarees, Konrad sarees, Mysore silk sarees, Pochampally Ikat sarees, etc. are the high-end creations that reflect the true craftsmanship of artisans. If you are the bride-to-be, we highly recommend atleast one silk saree in your wedding trousseau. It is a timeless piece that can be passed on from one generation to another. Even if you happen to be the bridesmaid for an upcoming wedding, do try out this wonderful garment. You can obviously drape it in a unique fashion. Maybe go for a halter neck or a backless blouse. And if you are the mother/mother-in-law of our pretty bride, then South Indian silk saree is ideal attire for the wedding day!1. Kancheepuram saree is known its innovative color contrasts. What makes it stand out from other varieties is the ‘motif’ it embodies. Pyramidical temple borders, checks, stripes and floral “booties” are traditional designs you will find in a traditional Kancheepuram saree. The reason why a Kancheepuram saree is expensive is for it requires interlocking of 3 differently woven cloths. The border, body, and pallu are woven separately and later joined together.2. Mysore saree is known for its vivacious color theme and represents a minimalistic theme. This silk is easy to wear and super-versatile.3. Konrad saree has a wide border and motifs based on Indian deities. But, these days they also come characterized by paisleys, peacocks, and elephants. For an ultimate festive look, you can go for mehndi design with similar motifs. Browns, gray and off-whites are the traditional colors of these sarees. When dressing up in South Indian saree, do make sure to go bold with your eye makeup. Pick from the best eyeliner style that suits your eye shape, wear a lot of kajal and don’t underestimate the power and strength of voluminous eyelashes, all thanks to our gracious mascara. Go for glittery eyeshadow. You can match your lips with the base color of your saree. Orange, pink, red, brown.. And, opt for an updo with a bit of a twist. Don’t forget to accessorize your hair. If you want to leave you hair open, then go for central parting. Aren’t you looking hot? Some of the samples are:Happy Saree Hunting :-)
