My real name is Dilshod but I wanted to stylize it a bit so I came up with Dilshodicus, Dishlodicus, The Dilshodic 1, Dilshodic, Drillshod and... I guess my most creative Tilseodh (sounds a bit Middle Earthish, no?)

I need a really good name for my youtube account. I thought of a lot of ideas but the only thing that stumps me is thinking of a cool name that is professional looking and makes sense to my channel. Should I name my YouTube channel my name?
This is my personal opinion because I have not looked into if there's a correlation between choosing your real name or pseudonym for your YouTube channel and how drastically success is affected. I think it all depends on how you brand yourself in the end no matter what name is chosen. When iisuperwomanii started, my friend thought the name was stupid and no one would remember it but, look at her now. She has given a whole new meaning to superwoman. She could've easily used her real name (Lily Singh) which is so much simpler but she didn't. She has claimed to be superwoman and branded herself as such and is a huge success. Same for NigaHiga. Now we've got other people using their real names as well who are just as successful. Christian Guzman and Robin Gallant in the bodybuilding side of YouTube. You've got Jamie and Nikki doing daily vlogs. All successful. So, I say name your channel whatever you desire and just brand it so that whenever someone hears that name (even if your name is John Smith) they'll instantly think of you and no one else.

What should I name my new youtube channel?
Hi everyone! I'm going to open a youtube channel and I was thinking about the names! Though I'm a girl I'm not gonna talk about make up at all.. I'm going to upload funny videos and I have thought about these names: -erica masbery (my second name) -erica mabery (idk I think it sounds better without a s) -erica juice (my actual last name and it would be cool because I already have an idea for the channel graphic but I'm afraid of people thinking it's a cooking channel please tell me what would you think) I wanted something I won't became boring when I grow up so I first thought about my real names tell me what you like most and which one would you click if you see it around youtube comments and tell me what name would make you most curious :) Also suggest me some new ones or modify mine I'll be happy to check them out ! Should I start my own YouTube channel?
This has been something I've thought about and wanted to do for years. I practice everyday as if I have my own channel and make my own videos but I just never have because I'm honestly scared. I'm nervous about what the people close to me might say about it (I don't care for their judgement but I don't know how to avoid it) and I'm also scared to fail. I'm not a 12/13 year old who wants to do it for fun. I'm in college and want to do it because I love it. I come home from class or work and the first thing I do is watch YouTube. I take a break for a while to eat, do homework, study, etc. and then I'm back watching until I go to bed. I think about it always and I guess I'm just looking for encouragement... Something/someone to give me that backbone and push I need to just bite the bullet and do what will make me happy. Any thoughts or encouraging words?
What kind of YouTube channel should I make?
According to whatever skill you're good in, you can make it. If you're some mentor kind of person, you can start a channel for motivational videos, if you are good in some instrument you can upload tutorial videos, if you know arts and craft, you can put videos in which you show people how to recycle stuff and all that jazz. Lastly, people always love to laugh so any comedy channel would definitely work. Though, it all depends on your interest.
