What Should Update On My Visa Application Status If My Uk Visa Was Refused

Can my UK visa application be refusedbecause I have Hep C?

Most probably

Refusing UK visa application because of a typo?!?! Please read my story and hope you could help!?

Hello all!

My mother applied for UK visa and I have done the application for her because I did my dad's earlier this year and it went well.

My mum paid and scheduled an appointment and printed the application. After that my mum went to her appointment/interview and she said that her paper are all done and right, and the application result (refuse or accept) will be after 2 weeks.

Today, while my mum was reading her copy of the application form, she noticed something, her grandpa's name was pronounced wrong! It supposed to be written Ayash but I typed it Ayahs. In other meaning instead of (sh) I typed (hs). I didn't notice because the letters were all capitals.

I'm really concerned and confused that my mum's Visa will be refused!! It's my fault, I know but I just didn't notice!

Do you think the visa will be refused because of a typo?

Thanks.

How can I track my UK visa application status if I had applied via the Visa4UK website?

Okay, first off I know this is an old question but there is so much incorrect information on it and it bothers me. I have applied for 4 UK settlement visas. (I was denied for the initial one because we misunderstood the monetary requirement, I applied a few months later and was approved! I have applied for all of my visas myself, no lawyers or other paid help.)Depending on where you are applying from and what visa you are applying for (neither of which are included in the question) makes your question difficult to answer.Basically, no there is no way to find out where your application is in the visa process. The process seems needlessly opaque. They have an email and phone number you can call, but they both cost money and it's a waste because you are reaching a call centre that has no access to your application who mostly dispenses incorrect advice and wrong status updates. They charge in GBP at more than a pound a minute or about £5 for the email.UKVI time scales are business days. For the US their aim is to process a settlement visa in 60 business days, which is 12 weeks from your receipt of the first email from them that your application has been received. During busy times it can be weeks after your application shows it arrived at UKVI through your package tracking. It's a process that's nerve wracking, the worst time to apply is May-August as that's when everyone and their brother applies ahead of the next school year. You can only apply 3 months before your requested travel date, and your visa can take more than 60 business days to process from when you receive that email. Did I mention not everyone receives that email?

Should I mention that my US visa application was refused when filling out my UK visa application?

Definitely answer with "yes". Lying on a visa application is a very bad idea. If they find out (and they could well do - the US and UK share information on a lot of things, I don't know if failed visa applications are one of them), you'll probably find it impossible to visit the UK ever again (and possibly any other countries the UK shares that information with). If they find out after you get the visa and enter the UK then you could face up to two years in prison.Answering "yes" doesn't automatically mean they will reject the application. It probably won't make any difference - they would make their own assessment of your ties to your home country anyway.

How do I track my UK visa application?

The visa process for any country can be a long and stressful process. If you’re thinking about a move to the UK, I’ve outlined some things below to keep in mind. This is a brief overview but if you want a more in-depth analysis be sure to check out this website for more information on relocation assistance.Average Processing Times:UKVI has released a site wizard called Visa Processing Times that provides the expected turn-around for each issuing post by visa type. The user can enter their home country and visa type and is then given historical data broken out by processing time. A sample for the USA looks this:Email & SMS Alerts:You can opt in to receive SMS alerts but most people find that the SMS facility is not granular enough to suit their needs, especially when they are awaiting important news. Unfortunately, there's actually no other way to learn more. The UKVI internal systems only have about 5 status' anyway.Your T2 sponsor (if applicable) has access to the UKVI Sponsor Management System and can query the database on your behalf. The only information that your sponsor is likely to get is what you already received via SMS.IN COUNTRY applicants can be notified of their status by email. So your renewal or subsequent applications can take advantage of that method.Exceeding the Time Limit:UKVI has agreed a service level with Parliament and as long as your application falls within their agreed time limit, they are not obliged to provide ‘extraordinary status’ information. Once they have exceeded the time limit and they have not reached a decision, they will notify you. Also at that point you have the option of initiating a query on your own. This holds true for all visa applications across the board, but each visa type has a different target.Hope this helps.

If one's Schengen visa application has been rejected then will all Schengen visa member states reject his or her future Schegen visa applications?

A2A.No.Though each Schengen state knows about the visa rejection, each time your visa application is viewed as a fresh application. When your visa is rejected there is a reason/s for the rejection. When you apply again you have to eradicate that reason which have caused the rejection and mention this in your cover letter. When you apply again, clearly state that you had applied for the Schengen visa on such a date (if you remember), the file number and the reason for rejection, and how you have worked towards solving that reason. You stand a fair chance to get the visa.Good luck.

Will my UK visa application be affected or possibly rejected if I had a previously denied New Zealand visa application due to not having an Acceptable Standard of Health (I have major depression with PTSD)?

I don’t recommend that you use Quora to crowdsource visa advice.A mental health condition, or any condition apart from tuberculosis or a highly contagious disease, would not in itself have any bearing on a UK visa application. It’s possible a previous refusal might, depending on what happened. Check the General grounds for refusal: considering entry clearance.

From India, refused UK student visa twice, chances for Canada?

Hey guys, I'll try and be very concise here. I went to the UK in 2002 with family who kept on applying & getting refused from UK Embassy in 2-3 applications made within UK. During the course of time, I was studying and started pursuing a medical degree (MBBS) in UK in 2005. The university accepted me as a home student since I was studying there for three years. Family came back to India in 2006, and me getting fed up with my situation there (no rights, probability of detention) came back in 2008, hoping I would be granted a student visa.

Applied 1st in Aug 2008 and they refused on the basis of "inadequate funds", then in Jan 2009 they termed my overstaying and some weirdly minor application that I couldn't recollect at all on the form as the reason for refusal and they have barred future applications till 2018 + accusing me of fraud against my uni for paying Home fees for 3 years when I had no business to.

Now, my family is keen I should give Canada a try. I am fine either ways - studying in India or abroad. I want to know how much does my UK history affect my Canadian application. Will downplaying the situation help? Obviously to enter the Canadian medical education system, I would need to do a BSc first, but is this possible now-as in does the UK immigration history have the potential to really make the whole process of applying unnecessary?

Am really desperate, really keen to do medicine and would love to hear some opinions, as to how I should proceed.

Why was I refused an UK Tourist Visa?

You stated that their letter stated: "You will also find enclosed a detailed notice explaining exactly why your application was refused and information on your appeal rights."

So what did this letter say? Was it not enclosed? If not, have your parents ring them and get this matter sorted out. They are required by their own rules to give you a written explanation of a refusal.

My first guess, from the incomplete information you've given, would be that they weren't satisfied with your means of financial support, or weren't satisfied with means of family support since you are a minor. It sounds live you've gone through the correct process though, so I doubt your status as a Turkish citizen or an American permanent resident had much bearing on the refusal.

Need more details.
