What Sims 3 Expansion Pack Is Most Reccomanded

What Sims 4 expansion packs are best?

I don’t have many packs, but I have made my choice.Get Together. It adds a nice new world and awesome social interactions. Two new skills, dancing and DJ. Clubs are just when it gets cool, if you like the social part the sims.City Living is good if you prefer Aspirations. I can’t say that San Myshuno is bad thought. Great city, but I don’t like festivals. The 3 new careers, social media critic and Political, aren't terrible.Get to work is okay. No big towns, the town it has is meant for retail but you can live on the one empty lot. 3 playable careers Doctor, science, and Dective. One profession retailer. Aliens are also in Get to Work, not too impressive.Vampires is super great, my second favorite. The town is small, but I love it!! Leveling up your vampire is great. Clothing is bad is vampires but it is cool.Spa day is cool. I suggest you should not get it. One of the smaller packs, it is great when it comes to cas.So I suggest Get together and vampires. Also i have been wanting outdoor retreat so you might like that!

Which Sims 3 Expansion Pack is the most fun?

I have the Sims 3 base game and I want to buy an expansion pack. I plan on buying the Sims Pets when it comes out but until then, out of "World Adventures," "Ambitions," "Late Night," and "Generations" which would be the most fun add-on to my base game? Also, I like downloading custom content so which expansion pack would be the most compatible with that?

What is the best sims 3 expansion pack? Why?

I would say Late Night. It has an AMAZING create a sim selection including like 8 new pairs of shoes, many dresses, many tops, and about 4 bottoms. Came with about 7 lovely hairstyles as well. This is stuff for females anyway. The male selection was also very satisfying. Build/buy mode objects I also loved. It's very fun. You can live in the city and apartments, mansions, be a celebrity, be a vampire, be followed by paparazzi, go to clubs/bars, and even form a band (it comes with new instruments like the bass, piano, and drums). I never get tired of it. If you want to see a mini review on all the expansion packs, quxxn made one that is very helpful. Here's the link: http://quxxn.com/2012/04/05/mini-review-...

Hope this helped!

Do you need an expansion pack to make apartments in sims 3?

If you get Late Night, there are high rise buildings you can place on empty residential lots if you are just wanting a certain look to your town. Only one household can actually live in the high rise buildings, which each have a single furnished apartment suite. NPCs (bartenders, firefighters, etc.) will move into the rabbit-hole apartments in the buildings, but you can't actually visit them and they aren't truly moved into the town. The high rise buildings each have a lobby with a trash chute, call box, and mailbox panel.

If you get University Life, you can designate a residential lot as an apartment lot, and then the building that is on that lot will be able to be rented instead of purchased. You can still only play one active household at a time, and unless you have roommates, other Sims will not move into the building with you.

True apartments, where other households will move in next door like in Sims 2: Apartment Life, are not possible in Sims 3. Late Night (for the look of apartments) and University Life (for the renting ability) are the closest.

EDIT: When I've placed high-rise buildings (which are purchased, not rented, by Sims), non-player households have moved in along with the various service NPCs who haven't *officially* moved in to town but are just...there. And when I've made a residential lot into an apartment-residential (with University Life), four non-player Sims DID move in and take up residence there. I've also done an apartment-residential lot and rented it with my own active Sim. So if you just want apartments, and you're willing to buy the expansions necessary, you could place a high-rise (or just build something similar if you don't want to go with Late Night) and make the lot residential/apartment so that it can be rented instead of owned.

Is Sims 3 good without expansion packs?

You can play the game without any expansion packs or stuff packs but to be honest I would buy some of the cheaper stuff packs to make the game better as the content to with just the sims 3 is not that good but you could always create an account on the sims 3 website, then register a game and download free and safe content that makes the alot better
P.S If I was you buy one/some fo these they are the best for new stuff: pets, supernatural and seasons. Another good one is university, i should be getting it by the end of the month
