I wear a size 3 in Hollister jeans, what size would I wear in Abercrombie?
Will Abercrombie jeans fit the same as Hollister and what size would I need if I wear 3 Hollister? I'm thinking about just buying them over the internet, so it's very important for me to know the size. Please, only someone who knows Abercrombie and Hollister jeans very well answer. I know there are measurements on both websites but they aren't completely accurate. Thanks to anyone who tries to help me.

You'll be a 5. A 4 in AE is a 27in waist and a 5 in Hollister is a 27in waist as well. Whoever said 6 is wrong... there's no 6 in Hollister, because they go by odd numbers. The reason for that is Hollister is for teens, so for teen girls' jeans go by odd number. AE are for adults, so for women's jeans it goes by even numbers. I don't buy AE jeans. I only buy Hollister, A&F, and Levi's. Hollister and Levi's(in the juniors' section)- I'm a size 3, or sometimes a 5. In A&F (it goes by adults sizing)- I'm a 0 or sometimes a 2.

Do Hollister jeans shrink?
Yup. *All* jeans will shrink ...even "pre-shrunk" jeans. To minimize the shrink wash and rinse them in *cold* water (just like it says on the care tag). Jeans will shrink the greatest amount in the dryer. So either air dry your jeans using the solar powered dryer ...aka "the clothes line" ...or dry them using "Low" heat, "colors/delicate" setting on the dryer. If they're a little damp just let them finish air drying. Also, if you dry your jeans inside out then pull them right side out after drying, they won't look quite as wrinkled.

Gain weight!!!!!Ok, but in all seriousness. Washing them in hot water and drying them on high on a cotton/sturdy setting will make them a bit tighter. After a few wears they’ll likely loosen up a bit again, so then just repeat the warm wash/dry sequence.If it’s an issue with the waist of the jeans being too big, a belt may help. If the cut of the leg is wider than you’d like (they’re boot cut jeans, and you’d prefer straight leg), you can take a safety pin and use it to fold part of the fabric over, thus making it appear like a smaller jean cut around the ankle. How do I stretch hollister jeans to fit?
I’ll second Mike Mahoney’s answer. You shouldn’t be trying to get a pair of jeans to stretch out to fit. Unless they are made with stretch material, they shouldn’t be but somewhat snug at worst. If you can’t get them on comfortably, it may be time to admit that you aren’t made for that pair of jeans.Hey, I’ve had to admit that before. With my thick thighs and thick-ish calves, I have a hard time finding good jeans. Don’t be ashamed at admitting that the jeans you have are wrong for you and that you need to find better jeans for you.
