What Skin Type Can Put Vaseline On The Face Overnight

Is Vaseline good to put on your face?

Here is the thing about Vaseline, it's just a brand of petroleum jelly. PJ's (Petroleum Jelly) molecules are too big to seep through and be absorbed by the skin which creates a physical barrier between the skin and the air. This allows moisture to stay within the skin and therefore having the soft and smooth skin you described. But there is a major downside, it doesn't allow oxygen to the face. It basically kills skin cells and that's why people say its bad for you. But another factor is skin type. I've know people who use the same every night Vaseline routine you do and have perfect clear skin, and so far have no pre-mature wrinkles. But I've also know people who had beautiful skin before and once they started using Vaseline they got very pimply and then after the stopped using it scars from the pimples/acne remained. So far Vaseline seem to be working for you so keep using it! But since skin type is always changing (not only in teenage years!) just be on the lookout for the signs to stop using it i.e. oily or dry skin, red pimples, lasting pimples etc.
Hope this helped!

Will putting VASELINE petroleum jelly on lips overnight MOISTURIZE them and make them SOFT?

Here is what I posted to another person:

O.K. THE ONLY PRODUCT I USE IS BLISTEX MEDICATED LIP OINTMENT NOT THE BALM, IT'S AN OINTMENT. IT COMES IN A WHITE TUBE WITH RED WRITING. I DO NOT RECOMMEND VASELINE AS YOU NEED SOMETHING MEDICATED TO HEAL. Vaseline is just a greasyness that will do nothing but promote dryness. I used to use carmex but when I discovered Blistex I found that the carmex wasn't working AT ALL. I actually have dry lips 24/7 and need to apply this once or twice a day. One tube will last a month or more.

Another thing is if you are dehydrated then your lips will also be very dry and burn. Blistex will help with the discomfort but until you rehydrate, it won't go away. If you have peely skin on your lips you should exfoliate them with a rough wet wash cloth to remove it. This will make them feel less dry when applying the ointment. This will make them soft but you still need the Blistex.

Will vaseline make my face darker if i put it on?

No! this is total fiction, the only thing you'll get putting a wod of vaseline on is a greasy face!

It may accelerate the tanning process if you wear it out in the sun as it's reflective! however you wouldn't want to do this for the obvious reasons
-premature aging
-cancer
-leathery skin! etc.

Should you apply honey on your face overnight?

Honey can be used in many different ways to treat your skin and face, so here are few ways to use honey in an overnight face beauty treatment:Dry Lips: Exfoliate your lips and apply a thin layer of honey on your lips before going to bed. Your lips will become smooth and moisturized with the gentle care of honey.Pimple / Acne: Honey contains antibacterial and anti-fungal properties which help in clarifying skin and keep pores clear and clean. Using a cotton swab dab a bit of honey on the zit as a overnight spot treatment, the anti bacterial properties in honey will dry it upBlackheads: Mix a teaspoon of honey with 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply to the area that is prone to blackheads like nose and chin. Rinse off in the morning.Scar: Honey is said to lighten skin, and its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial compounds help to decrease the appearances of scars and increase healing and tissue regeneration. Apply honey on scar daily before going to bed and cover it with a bandage to lighten it within week you can see the change.Moisturizer: For glowing skin, add a small amount of honey to your night cream or aloe vera gel, massage the cream into your skin before going to bed. Aloe vera contains healing and antimicrobial properties which help to treat acne. It also soothes the inflammation and reduces the redness

Will slathering on Vaseline and putting socks on at night give me softer feet?

Don't exfoliate daily, but only or twice a week. Indeed exfoliating daily to remove rough patches only makes your skin produce more to protect itself. Instead of exfoliating, buy a pumice stone and rub your soles in gentle circular motions with it, once or twice a week.
The Vaseline + socks trick works wonder, it is true. Do this for a week or two, and then buy yourself a good thick foot cream. Lotion might not be moisturizing enough, so that's why your skin is still not soft.

If you want to, you can try this bonus trick once in a while: apply a thick layer of nourishing face mask on your feet, then wrap them in Cellophane (the plastic thing you use to protect food, I don't know if Cellophane is the right name, since English is not my mother tongue!) and keep it for about thirty minutes or so.
