I've always been partial to "I'm Alright" (the theme from Caddyshack). It's got that nice little edge to it without being totally irritating... as in "worry about your own business and stay out of mine". For a while when I was young, I considered it my theme song.

I'm going to start by saying this is hard. You're hard. But I love a challenge when it comes to music. I'm going to break you up into different categories. Your love life was easiest. HIM - Scared to Death because while you would probably have no problem saying I love you it would be hard to mean it. You'd very likely be afraid to mean it. You're lost. That much is certain. Crawling in the Dark by Hoobastank fits this well. So does How Soon is Now by Love Spit Love. You probably feel out of place in society. Hate Every Beautiful Day by Sugarcult is a good fit here. That fact that you can't love yourself,you have such a low opinion of yourself, yet are attracted to this guy makes you all the more attracted, because you see things in him that you wish you had, or that maybe he could fix what's broken inside. The Beauty and the Tragedy by Trading Yesterday for this. Honestly I'm speaking from both personal experience and a little psycology for good measure here. What you need is to hold your head up high and realize that while we all die and everything we work for will eventually be gone, that doesn't mean we should do nothing, as a person's life is measured by struggle. The Unforgiven I - Metallica Even though, There are other songs that I like more, this song describes me so well. The first half of the song, it talks about a person who is too selfish to care for others, and therefore, no one likes him... The second half of the song, it talks about the same person who changed to be completely submissive to others, and that led others to see him as really weak, and again, nobody liked him... So that guy can't forgive him self, because of the life he lived, and he still doesn't know how to make others like him... I am like that guy, except that I was submissive first, then I became a selfish egotistical pig... hope I'll get laid someday lol
