What Song Relates To Midsummer Night

Song in Midsummer Night's Dream's Trailer?

I think the song might be called "Aria Of The Flowers" or "Flower Duet" from the opera Lakme performed by Yanni.
But I am not sure I watched the same trailer you did. Is this the song you are talking about?

I went to IMDB to find the answer for this so I can't take credit if it's correct. For some reason Yahoo isn't let me edit my answer with the link to the message board I went to which sucks.

What songs relate to Puck from Midsummer Night's Dream?

"Do You Believe in Magic?" by The Loving Spoonful.

Does anyone know some songs that relate to a midsummer's night dream?

ummm..try searching google and type in songs about romantic confusion,

the only song I can think of off by hand that relates to the story is Cowboys and Angels by George Michael. It's a low-key song that is about romantic confusion and the fear of being hurt.

Also, try the soundtrack from the 1999 movie of a Midsummers Night Dream.

For instance,
"A Midsummer Night's Dream"
"Brindisi"
"Una furtiva lagrima"
"Casta diva"
"Wedding March"
"Intermezzo"

well i hope that helps, but honestly and love songs of today that are about someone loving someone but they can't have them because they are with someone else will relate to the story (if you want a more modern song try Taylor Swift's songs a lot of them would relate like Teardrops on My Guitar because she wants him but can't have him like how Helena can't have Demetrius or is it Lysander i don't remember lol I haven't read it in awhile but you get what I am saying) HOPE THAT HELPED :)

Hella good. I absolutely adore the Chinese dude’s part.Joji, my precious child, isn’t depressed in a fucking bathtub either.Rich Brian, another one of my favs, killing it with that voice. They all look like they’re having the time of their life, so I love the music video, and the song’s lit as hell. So score? 8.5/10

What uplifting classical music is similar in mood to Mendelssohn's "A Midsummer Night's Dream Overture" (Op.21)?

You don't have very far to look. Turn next to Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 4, the "Italian."It has the same almost neo-classical use of strings (light, exuberant) and similar gift of lyricism. Incidentally, did you know Mendelssohn wrote the overture to A Midsummer's Night Dream at the age of seventeen? He was twenty when  he began the Italian Symphony and still retained that youthful excitement that would mellow a little as he got older.Next turn your ear to Tchaikovsky's Violin ConcertoTalk about exciting. Tchaikovsky, while perhaps not as compositionly gifted as Mendelssohn (few were), blows him out of the water for lyricism. If you don't listen to it and spend the rest of the day whistling it as you bound to and fro then there's not much anyone can do for you. Finally, try on Mozart's String Quartet in C Major (K.465), the "Dissonance"It begins slow and creepy, just like the Midsummer's Night Dream Overture, but it similarly springs into a brilliant, lyric, perfectly balanced allegro. But like the Overture, the elements of the initial harmonies sneak in from time to time to remind you that underpinning the pleasant and welcoming is an otherworldly magic. For further study, look more towards the Classical age, e.g., C.P.E. Bach, Mozart and Haydn, and maybe even Schubert (try the Trout Quintet). While Mendelssohn was a Romantic, his aesthetic sensibilities were heavily influenced by the Classical era, something his contemporaries were highly critical of. Those sensibilities are balance, lyricism, good taste, and consonance, all characteristics that seem like they appeal to you. For better or for worse, our time is still very Romantic and brooding composers who still speak the tonal language are very popular. Wagner, Beethoven, Brahms, Liszt, Dvorak, Schumann, these are all names that are going to be "darker" because they are more comfortable with dissonance, motivic development, expressive content, and extremes of emotion. And when you meet a music fan that's not a Romantic, chances are strong she will be a fan of the Baroque.Fortunately, Classical compositions are still relatively easy to find, so keep your eye out and you should find plenty of concerts to attend.

What are some songs relating to the themes of Shakespeare's "A midsummer night's dream"?

Let's see...

1. Pat Benetar's "Love is a Battlefield" is an excellent example of what the character's were experiencing under Puck's little potion.

2. Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love" is also a good song for that particular scene. In fact, any song that talks about the enchanting, mind-altering powers of love would be perfect, since that was Shakespeare's message. Eve's "Love is Blind" is also another good choice!

3. Madonna's "I'm Keeping my Baby" is a nice reference to Titania, who refuses to give up the changeling child to Oberon.

4. Peggy Lee's "Fever" is a good song for Hermia's desire to stick with Lysander, rather than marry Demetrius.

Those are good starters...
