What Song Should I Sing Her With My Guitar Pls Read

Need a song suggestion for guitar to play at an audition (please read descripition!!)?

i'm wanna go to a new school which has a great music class and stuff (and they also have more rock-metal stuff in the lesson, beside jazz and classical music) and i wanna go there because some of my friend are trying to get in their too...
so they want me to learn music theory stuff for the audition (which i know really good), one jazz song with solo included (i know the song perfectly and the solo too) and a song that i choose (any kind, any genre) so i cant decide what song should i do.
can anyone suggest me a good song for guitar for my audition (i'm a rock-metal fan, but i like every music genre beside pop) and i've been playing guitar for 7 years now so don't suggest any begginer stuff

thank you and sorry for the long question

Whats a good talent show song for a 14 year old girl to sing? (Read information for my details)?

I'm 14 years old and a girl, i have 2 sing a song @ my skools talent show this year but i don't know a song to fit me. and its just me singing cause the girl who was gonna sing with me joined another group b/c she likes a guy in it. so i need help picking out a song.i dont know what i am (alto, saprano) i can sing Carrie Underwood's "jesus take the wheel" well and her "all american girl" well but i cant get as high as she does. like when i try to get high notes my voice goes to the small high voice that i dont think sounds so good. u know what i mean? though i cant sing the really low notes either. like the middle notes, simi-low notes and the high notes that arnt super high just the high right above the middle. just an octive about.
plus im a cheerleader (loudest one) so that may help determan a song since i heard cheerleaders cant sing sertain songs b/c we shout so loudly.
if u need any more info email or comment me so i can add it or message back. thank you

How do people play guitar without reading music.?

What you seek is called relative pitch, essentially you need to memorize the difference in sound relative to the distance traveled up or down the neck. To exercise this, start with single notes and slide from one note to the other of varying distances... hear and observe the sonic difference. Very very helpful is singing the notes as well as you do this. Do this a lot. I have established strong relative pitch now and can "intuitively" identify notes now because of this. As for chords, remember that chord shapes are often very movable. Experiment by moving them around and again listening closely to the sound difference. When moving chords up and down the neck you will often have to avoid open strings. Remember as well that much can be achieved by simply changing only a single note from an existing chord. Bass, or sonically LOWER notes, "tend" to be the roots( more unchangeable notes) try substituting some of the other notes in the chord with either higher and or lower note(s). Make sure while doing this that you do not only move the note only ONE fret up or down as scales vary by whole steps and half steps. Hope this helps. Also while your family may not "need" to read music or be competent in music theory, knowledge is power... get disciplined, stay dedicated, and you will achieve what you desire. If you are a beginner now is the time to fight more than ever as when your beginner roadblocks are out of the way you will have a lot more fun. Beginning is hard and that is why so many quit. They want the end outcome too fast and lose faith in their own ability, of which they have very little as they are beginners. Finally, take my advice on this, SING the notes as this dramatically sped up my relative pitch awareness. Good luck!

My mom can't sing, read description?

Ohkay so my mom is in love with the new adele song 'someone like you' and she likes to sing the chorus but my mom has like that 80's vibe to her singing, and it annoys me, it's not on tone, and very off key with no rythm. It also annoy's me is that she dosen't know anything but the chorus and that really erks the hell outta me.

I love my mom, but her singing is horrid, absolutly horrid, so is there a way I can not like get fixated on it and just zone it out.

What's the easiest Taylor Swift song to sing?

Easy depends on what is easy for you. If you plan to compete in a talent show, you really should know what your voice is like and what suits your voice the best. Simply picking a song because it's popular won't do, and a song that is TOO easy may not impress the judges and audience.

I think all of Taylor Swift's songs are easy to sing. However pick one that is more "acoustic" --that is you want mostly a solo voice and basic instrumental background like piano or guitar. Depends on what you plan to use for background music since many of her songs are available as karaoke tracks. DON'T sing acapella--if you are singing by yourself it will actually come across as being ill-prepared or amateurish (unless you have one FANTASTIC voice--which I suspect you don't or you wouldn't be asking for "easy songs"). Don't pick a song where there is a lot of autotune or other digital effects to make it sound good--in other words, something like "I Knew You Were Trouble".

I'm not that familiar with all of Taylor Swift's songs since I usually listen to classical music, but I would presume that her singing and her songwriting probably have gotten better over the years (I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt here). You might pick some of her earlier hits like "Tim McGraw" which is a pretty popular song in karaoke bars so I'm presuming most people find it easy to sing since they don't pick her other songs quite as often.

Here are some links that might help you decide which song might be right for YOU. Don't make the mistake that many amateurs make of thinking if they pick a certain song that they will sound exactly the same. It is also very different to sing along when you're listening to the original recording, than to go out and sing it by yourself (some accompaniment tracks don't even HAVE the melody on it--you have to know the song extremely well in order to sing it correctly).

You can buy karaoke tracks at most sources where you buy any other recorded music--either as CDs or mp3 tracks.

If you need sheet music, you can try here (Swift's music is copyrighted and even she deserves to be paid for her work).

Has a song ever moved you to tears (read on please)?

Countless times!!!

I am an extremely sensitive person
First of all as a child my mother took me to watch Opera so I cried there. For hours. because I felt all the sadness and tragedy in the music.
Later I cried to many progressive rock songs.
Here is one example...
GENESIS- Ripples.

This song makes me cry every time I hear it and I love it. I am glad I can FEEL things so deeply in my life.
Thank God for Music.

I want to sing a song and send it to my crush. Which song should I sing?

La Vie En Rose is a classic. Its title translates to: Life in Pink. It's a French song with a beautifully romantic meaning, and has an English translation as well.I recommend reading the direct translation of the French lyrics to get a better grasp of the song. The connotation of the French words is different, and is (in my opinion) more romantic. You should try giving the French version a shot to learn, even if just for fun-because who wouldn't want to be sung to in French? The English version is a classic too, though. It's originally performed by the wonderful Louis Armstrong, with a gently swinging, 20’s cadence. Here is a link to a cover of the song in both languages: Laura & Anton - "La Vie En Rose"Enjoy, and good luck with your crush!
