What Song Should We Sing

What song should I sing in an SM audition?

Hello again~
It all depends on your vocal range and type. If you can make your vocals fit in The boys or any other song,go for it. Personally,I'd go for Selena Gomez.Too many people cover SNSD songs and not many cover American artists.Selena Gomez has an interesting/strong voice. If you can manage the song,I would pick her or any other American song.It doesn't have to be a kpop song,it all matters on how you sing the song.Don't worry about whether the song should be in Korean or English.Pick a good song and perfect it with your own style~
You can only sing for 20 seconds at the audition site. If you're planning on singing, make the song short and to the point.Approximately about 1-2 minutes.
I wouldn't talk about how your parents might not be able to come with you to Korea. That might affect your audition chance.
I also did a SM audition email video and I just made a short introduction.
Introduce yourself with your name/age/nationality.The rest of your info will be put into the application form.Keep it short~
Good luck again~:)

What songs should I sing for my K-pop audition?

For a Kpop audition you can sing any song but there is some criteria to fit.Try to make it within 20–45 seconds. It shouldn’t be a full song.Make sure it highlights your vocal capability. Pick a song that doesn’t strain your voice but also shows your skills.NEVER sing a song from the company. Although this might make it seem like you are really happy to join their company, many people will think that you are trying to say that you are better than their company.NEVER sing a song from the companies enemy. The sad truth is, this is still an industry and there is still competition. For example; if you audition at BigHit, don’t sing EXO because EXO is BTS’s greatest competitor. You can generally sing in any language but it is easier to be judged if you sing in Korean. Good luck!~

What song should I sing for my sister's wedding?

My sister is getting married in a few months and she has asked me to sing a song at her wedding reception. Her soon-to-be brother-in-law will accompany me on guitar. I'm open to suggestions from all genres. Songs sung by female artist preferred :) thanks!

What song should i sing for my Honk Jr auditon?

Aw, I was in that show! About four years ago now... I was Grace Mandarin Duck. :D

As for what to sing... that's always a hard one. Do you know the song "Who Will Buy?" from Oliver? It's a soprano song, fun, catchy, a good audition piece, and not too hard. Of course, everything depends on whether you want to sing a musical theatre song, how old you are, and how hard of a song you want to learn. (Or whether you want to learn a new song at all.)

For some reason I can't think of anything else at the moment... I don't even remember what I used to audition for Honk!

What song should i sing for an oliver audition?

First of all, always sing a musical theatre song unless specifically asked to sing something different. And, usually you do not sing from the score unless specifically asked to or the audition notice says it's ok to do so. I wouldn't suggest it though unless your character has a particularly difficult song and you need to show the director that you can do it.

What about Gimme Gimme from Thoroughly Modern Millie, Somewhere That's Green from Little Shop, Much More from Fantasticks, Don't Tell Mama from Cabaret

- but take into account who Bet is and what the highest and lowest notes are that she hits in her solos are and try to find a song that will show off all of that in you. I haven't seen Oliver in so long, I honestly don't remember much other than that she's Nancy's sidekick so do some research on your character and then choose your song. Break a leg!

Im auditioning for a play. What song should I sing?

Sing a song that would fit your vocal range. Don't do songs that you know you can't hit. I think that What is this felling would be a good song to sing. I know that the person casting the roles will want to see what you can sing, and not what you think you can sing, practice a couple of songs and see which ones you can sing over and over and always hit the right notes. Once you get comfotable, you'll know. Good Luck!

What song should I sing for my Follies audition?

I’m a soprano and Im auditioning for a production of Stephen Sondheim s "Follies" for the part of either Young Sally or Young Phyllis, and I’m wondering what a good audition song would be for these roles. I’m not familiar with the production, and I am trying to find what a good song or type of song would be.
