What Steps Should I Take For Going To The Navy

Steps of joining the navy?

I'm a 15 year old female. I'm positive that I want to have a career in military in the near future, but I have no idea what steps I would have to go through.

What are the education requirements?
What is signing up like? Is there any tests or questions you have to answer?
Is training hard?
What are the daily tasks you would have to go through?

Any other advice is appreciated.

What are the steps to joining navy?

Go to a recruiter. They will take it from there.

How do I avoid going into the Navy Undesignated. Like, what steps do I take to land a decent job. A job that inolves travel.?

Don't sign or agree to anything that mentions PACT.
The better your ASVAB score, the more and better jobs you get offered.

Any job you get will most likely take care of the travel part.

What are the steps toward joining the Navy and going to OCS.?

There are no set in stone requirements for OCS other than having a degree from an accredited college. Now, that doesn't mean if you have a 2.0 GPA you are going to get accepted. OCS is competitive, basics are: good moral character, with in age limits, height/weight requirements, no major financial problems. Mostly the same things they look at for enlistments, but it is a longer process, and you have to be selected. If you have a 3.0 or better, participated in civic activities have a clean record and are in shape, you stand a good chance.
Your first step will be to fill out an application that the recruiter will give you, you will have to get letters of recommendation from people that know you well, if you know any military officers, in the grade of O-4 or above, highly recommend you get them to write a letter.
When you fill out your application you will be given three choices for what you would like to do, USE all three. What happens is your application will go to Millington, where it will be reviewed, applications are screened by the community which you wish to enter and if the 1st choice says no, then it goes to the second community, until one of them says yes or they all three say no. I have seen packages screened by other communities and an offer made for something you didn't ask for.
While you sound like a good candidate for the Supply Corps, depending on various factors you could end up as a Surface Warfare Officer. I would also inquire about the Medical Service Corps Health Care Administration field. Depending on quals and need, you may be able to get into that, if not and you would be interested in the field, ask about the program to send you for a graduate degree.
The process is not a quick one, it typically takes anywhere from 3 to 6 months. If you have any other questions, I will gladly try to help.Best of luck to you, hope to see you in the Fleet.

What are the 10 Steps to the Fitting Rooms at Old Navy?

Yes, you should have had training for the fitting room. It's part of the orientation/training program.

I dug this up from GapWeb.
The 10 steps are:

1. WELCOME the customer and introduce yourself.
(“Hi, how’s it going? My name is…”)

2. Take merchandise from the customer and BRING HIM/HER TO A FITTING ROOM. (“Let me get those items into a fitting room for you.”)

3. KNOCK, then UNLOCK the door (be sure the fitting room is clean).

4. PLACE ITEMS INSIDE – be sure to NOTICE WHAT ITEMS you are placing in the room. (“This is a great (name of item). They’re a hot item this week.”)

5. TELL THE CUSTOMER YOU CAN BRING A DIFFERENT SIZE, COLOR OR STYLE IF NEEDED – all the customer needs to do is ask. (“I can grab another size, color or style if you need it – I’ll be back to check on you in a few minutes.”)

6. ALWAYS ASK EVERY CUSTOMER IF SHE/HE NEEDS AN ADDITIONAL SIZE. Knock and check on customers to see if they might need additional assistance. (“How is everything? Can I get you another size?”)

7. Use the walkie-talkie to ASK SPRINTERS TO BRING ITEMS customers request.

8. Talk to the customer about the BENEFITS OF OLD NAVY CARD. (“You can get some great benefits with an Old Navy Card, including some great savings on your purchase today.”)

9. OFFER ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE AND THANK EACH CUSTOMER for shopping with Old Navy as he/she leaves. (“Can I help you with anything else today? Thanks for shopping with us!”)

10. CLEAN the fitting room and close the door.
