What the Heck is this Phone Number??

Today, I received a call on my cellphone, when I picked it up, the caller ID displays: 1 00 0000 0000
I am like whaaat??., but still picked it up,I thought: It must be some marketing spam so I didn't say anything. This has happened before. The first time nobody said anything. I waited then they hung up. I regret I didn't ask what it was about. This was a Few months ago. Today I got the same number, but this time it was a "psychic network".

What is wrong with my stupid phone?

this answer is not a garentee, but my phone does it too. Ear pieces have been known to go bad. happens a lot. i suggest taking it in and telling ur service provider. Also, Towers have problems all the time. Try sending urself a text message once in a while. Just type ur phone number in and it will kick those text messages that are in the data bank at the MSC right out. i would go more in depth but theres no need to.

What the heck is wrong with my husband?

Your husband is an extremely insecure control freak. I would say that you guys need to get marriage counseling before it gets any worse.

My phone's battery is draining so fast. What can I do so that my phone's battery doesn't drain so fast?

Is this a new condition for an old phone? If so, you may need a new battery. Typical smartphone batteries last 1–3 years depending on your use. There are some good answers here, so I’m not going to repeat everything. Let’s take a look at what eats a phone’s power the fastest, and see if you can at least understand what’s going on.First is your cellular modem. A typical phone can transmit at very low power, or it can transmit at 350mW or more. When your phone transmits, the cell tower analyzes the power it’s receiving (dubbed Receive Signal Strength Indication, or RSSI) and instructs your phone to increase or decrease transmit power, depending on how it’s being heard. You have no control over this.If your signal strength is weak, 1 bar or less, you might see your battery dying before lunchtime in a typical day. At full power, you might well have a 75% charge by the end of the work day. It’s that important. What can you do about it? Not much. Turn off cellular and just use WiFi, if its available. Change carriers. Bring a big USB battery or get a wall plug and keep your phone charged.Next one is your screen. After the celluar radio, the screen can be the biggest power hog. To save power, dial down the brightness, or at least set it in auto-bright mode. And finally, what do you do with the phone? If you’re playing games, that’s going to eat phone battery. That runs the CPU faster than normal, kicks in all some or all of the high-performance cores in your multi-core CPU, and turns on the GPU. There’s nothing you can do to reduce high power use of your phone other than to not run the higher power applications, or only do that when plugged in.Use the battery meter (or whatever the equivalent of this is in your OS, if you’re in the 20% of the world that isn’t using Android) and see how your phone’s power is being used. This will help you find out where the power is going, and at least understand what you need to change to save battery power. But you still may need that charger or extra battery. If your cellular signal isn’t strong where you use the phone, the phone will die fast.

My TracFone Number Is Wrong....What do I do?

I went through all the steps to activate my phone.........then I look at my phone number so I can start using my phone and the phone number reads...000-000-and then 4 more numbers......I know this can not be my tracphone number, but heck, I call it anyway....and of course some guy comes on and tells me that I can't access that number or something......anyway........How do I get an actual number...............when I look under my telephone number.....it just says what I wrote above..........also, I try to change the number but because the internet site says my seriel # is in use; they either ask me to use another seriel # or put my phone number in......lol...which I try but because 000-000.... is not a real number...........I just get kicked off again.......what is going on and how do I find out or get a real phone number......Thanks!
Aparently my phone is activated? It says that I have a certain number of minutes on it......but I can't retrieve the "correct" phone number.......Please Help......Very Frustrating.........

What the heck is Bixby and why do I need to use it?

I can't give you details. I'm not interested in knowing anything about Bixby as I don't intend to ever use it. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+. On my phone is a separate button to access Bixby. How many phones have this built in I don't know. The best I can explain or understand Bixby is it is Samsung's version of Google Assistant. I can't judge it for its comparison and there are probably people who love it but Google Assistant meets my purposes so I have avoided even trying Bixby. This old dog gets tired of learning new tricks. I can cope. Just don't want to. Press the button if you're curious but if you have Google Assistant or whatever Apple's version is I can't give you a reason to ever use Bixby except trying something new. I'm waiting if ever for any bugs to get ironed out.
