Why don't relationships and marriage last longer these days?
Love has fallen hard over the decades. Most people think its a joke or not to be taken seriously. Love use to mean something. I saw a news article the other day. A married couple were celebrating their 96th wedding anniversary. Reading that I felt happy yet sad at the same time. Happy because it was proof that true love does exist. But sad because it was also proof of how far love has fallen. People have become fixated on physical looks and no longer look for at personality. I've been told MANY TIMES that I'm ugly but have an excellent personality. Because of my looks women turn me down. Shallow b*tches. And that doesn't just go for me. There are people with great personalities out there. But all people want is to date someone who looks like a super model. Then they get bored with that person and cheat on them because they don't have the spine to say I don't wanna be with you anymore. Too many people watching crap like The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Crap makes you think you have to marry a model. I'll tell you right now. I'd rather date a woman who can hold an intellectual conversation with me. Too many women have air in their head and silicone in their breasts. I'm not saying me are any better. Guys are @$$holes. And I just don't understand why the hell women are attracted to them. Women are like I wanna fall for a nice guy. I want my life to turn out like The Notebook. News flash, life isn't a chick flick. Then they keep falling for jerks, and wonder why they're love life always sucks. The common denominator is you. You keep dating jerks. You're gonna keep getting treated like sh*t. In 5 relationships I've been cheated on 3 times. I understand why the good women are gone. They either hide because they're so into the idea that good mean don't exist. Or they've been beaten down so much by bad relationships that they become the shallow stuck up b*tches. Most guys naturally come off as jerks. That's the jock syndrome talking. They played with other guys so long they have to act like @$$holes to show their masculinity and prove they're not closet gays. I'm a well rounded individual. I was in sports, scouts, chess, robotics, theatre, etc. I'm the Swiss Army Knife of Gentlemen. But women don't give the time of day because as one put it I looks like the "White version of Shrek". I kinda understand now why love is lost and relationships and marriage don't like as long anymore.
