What are some creative things to put in a gift basket?
It would entirely depend one who the basket was for but something I got in one a few years ago and have really enjoyed was a battery operated flicker candle. The batteries last a long time in it and I can go to sleep at night and leave it on and not worry about the danger of a fire. Something else that I’ve had for many years and have recently been putting in some of my own gift baskets are small wooden nesting dolls. There great for children or adults and make for a great collection. My own personal nesting doll is a kokeshi doll that my dad brought back from japan while in the United States Marine Corp in the early 60’s. Of course gift cards are always good too.

Why would a good friend ask me to pay for her when I ask her to hang out?

I don’t look good in yellow, so one day when she was at house, I showed it to her and asked if she liked it. I mentioned that I had noticed that yellow was a good color on her. She said, “Oh, I love it and I love yellow!” So I gave it to her. That was another thing that showed her true colors because she took it for the purpose of selling it as I also learned years later. If she didn’t like it, I wouldn’t have minded selling it myself. I could go on with other examples of her taking financial advantage of me and others. My conclusion: she was a money grubber. My opinion of her? It slid way downhill.
