What Tito Stepping Down How What Why He Can

What so think about Tito Oriz?

To me it seems like he's has been going around picking fights with other fighters. Look at the Ken Shamrock feud. He flipped the dude of for no reason. Also look at the feud between him and Rashad Evans. You could see that he walked over and just got up in his face (go to utbe if you want to see). Maybe it's only me. The question is; is he cocky or confident? Does he has a reason to be cocky?

What steps did the Germans take to limit the Jew's freedom and to deport them to concentration camp?

They made them wear arm bands that had the Jewish star on it to signify to everyone that they were Jewish.

What is the real story behind Josip Broz Tito? Was he the good, the bad, or the ugly? How did the direction that Josip choose lead to collapse of the country? Are there any lasting affects of the previous unified Yugoslavia that we feel today?

For me, I suspect that he is as a good guy as a politician can get. For instance, I find him all in all not much better or worse than Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim of Finland. I will not., however attribute to much of Yugoslavia's success story to him, but I will also try to find realistic view on his actions after the war when many Croats perished as victims of war crimes, my own grandfathers included. Knowing how they died I am 100% positive that most of those crimes can and will have to be explained by madness of local petty commanders and not a large scale operation with intention to eradicate them all.As for the mass killings of Ustasha and other military personnel, I can not recall that there was ever a document that it was Tito's doing. I do not recall that the guilty were prosecuted either and that is where I begin to have my resentment toward the guy but I don't know what was really going on behind doors of his office and other offices. What I would like to ask his critics is something I would like to ask critics of President Obama:a) How in the world would you in that god-awful mess around you manage to do more than what he did? What and where exactly would you really do better?b) You wield a pen in your office, but outside your office there is a real world and you need energy and skills to control the events. And you can't control them all no matter how hard you tried. My personal favourite is to know a person by the way he treats his own family. When using that criterium for comparison with Tuđman or Milošević, Tito wins hands down. I find it hard to believe that a brutal hegemonic narcissist sick genocidal dictator would have such a respectable offspring.(However, they say that Stalin too was a good father, go figure!)

Why did Yugoslavia disintegrate after Tito's death?

President Tito of Yugoslavia died in 1980 but Yugoslavia, a multinational federation, did not disintegrate immediately after it, nor because of it. It staggered along for another decade, until the fall of Communism and the first free elections.Once the six different nations living in Yugoslavia could freely express their views, for the first time in years, they all (except Serbia and, initially at least, Montenegro) voted with their feet, so to speak, and chose independence. However, if Tito who was still greatly respected both at home and in the world had still been alive in 1990 (and 20 years younger), who knows what might have happened.Nehru, Nkrumah, Nasser, Soekarno and Tito during glory days of the Non-Aligned Movement

Why am i grounding everything out to third base?

Not true is he is a right handed batter and is hitting to the left side of the field he is too early if he was late it would drive the ball to the right side. What has happened is your swing has went flat and your not getting your arms fully extended. Try stepping off the plate some and focus on your fundamentals and extend your arms and roll your wrists over, driving through the ball.

When they start the game, they don't yell, "Work ball." They say, "Play ball." ~Willie Stargell

What would Tito do if he saw Yugoslavia during the Yugoslav Civil Wars?

He would probably organize a pan-Yugoslav army and demand that all the ethnic militias and paramilitaries (ustasas, chetniks, balistas, whatever) lay down their arms and swear aliegence to the Yugoslav forces. He would then go to war with his army against all of those who refused. It would probably be a bloody war, but Yugoslav forces would eventually prevail. This is what Tito did the last time nationalists of the Yugoslav mini-ethnicities started raising ethnic forces and trying to exterminate people of other Yugoslav ethnic groups. That happened during WW2, and Tito’s forces also had the Axis forces to contend with back then. Axis forces were supporting these ethnic militias, and some of these militias pretended to be regular armies of pro Nazi puppet states formed from the occupied Yugoslavia. And Nazis supported them because a divided Yugoslavia was an easy game for the Nazis to conquer and keep occupied. In the end, they all ended fleeing together from Yugoslavia along with the Nazis, before the advancing Tito’s troops. It all comes down to numbers. A unified Yugoslav state, inclusive for people of all nationalities, would always be more powerful than a bunch of quarelling mini states, distrustful of their own people with “wrong” names or surnames.

Why did George Washington refuse a third term as President?

George Washington wished to retire and return to Mount Vernon. At the time there was no White House and during his presidency he stayed in Philadelphia. He was in his 60s and wished to return home. George Washington would have barely made it through a third term, he died in 1799 and the stress of the job could have made that early. The panic back then if the sitting president died would have been horrific.Besides that he made it clear in a letter to Governor of Connecticut, Jonathan Trumbull Jr., in 1799 he did not want to keep the power of the presidency. He wished to show an example by peacefully transferring power to a successor. Before FDR every president did two terms, those who could be reelected, and went on to other things. Except Theodore Roosevelt, but he didn't win a third term. George Washington also did not love how the political parties were becoming and even stated in his Farewell Address to avoid taking sides. On George Washington's resignation King George III said, “If he does that, he will be the greatest man in the world." He's the man that could have been king and choose not to.Washington on a proposed third term and political parties, 1799The Maryland State House

What's your opinion about China's Xi who is allowed to remain as the 'president for life' "?

feels like formalization of what’s already happening. You have to understand that the office of President in China is a recent reintroduction, and the presidency is nominally a ceremonial post, it is customary for the General Secretary to assume the presidency to confirm his status as de jure head of state. And as far as I know, while there’s some internal consensus on the term limit for the General Secretary, it is not something that’s written down. Jiang Zemin, for example, only stepped down from all his posts when he’s essentially pushed out in 2005, and even now, he’s retained some measure of political influence, and not fully retired. As for how I feel, well, it’s an double edged sword, on the one hand, people are screaming DICTATORSHIP FOR LIFE, and it’s true, bad policy can be exceptionally bad if there’s no way to change the guy in charge, Mao era comes to mind. On the other hand, if Xi is genuine in his anti-corruption and other domestic policy goals, to accomplish this in China, you’d need a leadership that you can’t just wait it out.And while I’m fairly certain the Xi is not going to be or going to be able to become a Mao like dictator, since, since at least so far, there’s zero hint at all of a cult of personality - i.e. he’s not putting his personal interest above that of the country. In general I’m still inclined to view this move negatively. For all the good intention he may hold, the move will not be viewed favourably by those he means to control, and it’s going to be a long struggle that might not end until he fulfil his new term limit.

My brother accidentally stepped on my puppies head!! PLEASE HRLP!!?

I know you said you can't take him to the vet but I still must urge you to stress to your parents how important it is if he is to have a true chance of surviving. From the description you have given it sounds like your puppy is experiencing brain swelling due to the trauma to his head. It can cause the eyes to swell shut as described because there is not enough room in the skull when the brain swells and the intracranial pressure causes the eyes to swell shut. Head injuries also cause ataxia (wobbly, drunken gait), lethargy, and vomiting. Your parents can take him in for an exam and let the vet know what their limit is on funds so the vet can determine what would help the most for the amount that they can spend. They may even work out a payment plan, we do this all the time for sick or injured animals at our clinic. The most essential treatment for a head injury is a medication called Mannitol that is given as an injection, it helps to relieve the brain swelling, and steroids are the second most important and used for inflammation. So even if your parents opted to just get one or both injections it could increase his odds of surviving dramatically, without lingering brain damage. If they still refuse to take him, all you can do is to be sure he is kept warm at all times, don't let him out of your sight because his depth perception is affected and he could injure himself further, and keep him hydrated as best you can. If he won't drink from the water bowl on his own, use a turkey baster or eye dropper (depending on his size) to slowly trickle fluids into his mouth, but make sure he his conscious and able to swallow first! That's really all you can do, I hope he makes it, head injury patients never cease to amaze me there have been many that I never thought would survive and they happily surprised me. But they were hospitalized on IV fluids and medications too. Don't give up hope though, that's the worst thing you can do.

What's the difference in the dance steps between mambo and salsa?

Just a little difference. Mambo is supposed to start on a '2' count, so it's wait, 2,3,4,wait,2,3,4. Salsa can be danced either starting on the 1 beat or the 2 beat. Mambo uses a side step in the basic pattern, where in salsa you just close the feet together. Mambo can use a lot of floor space, but salsa is often kept more close. An underarm turn in salsa is done from a forward step, in mambo it's a diagonal step-using more floor space. Mambo is an African dance and the posture can be very loose in the legs and the body can sink low down into it. Salsa, a Latino dance, is loose in some ways, but the posture is sometimes more up and the footwork closer for quicker, snappier turns. If you know mambo or salsa, you can adapt what you know to the other style pretty easily.
