What To Do If You Can

What do you do when you can't italicize or underline (like on Y!A)?

Back in the days when written assignments were handwritten, the custom was to put titles in quotes, whether they were the titles of books, newspapers, magazines, musical compositions, artworks or movies. So if neither italics nor underscores are available, use quotations marks, e.g.

Yesterday Jane and I went to see "Casablanca" at the local art-house.
Every time I watch "ET", I end up in tears.
"Les Parapluies de Cherbourg" is an unusual film because the entire dialogue is sung.
I really enjoyed watching "Breakfast at Tiffany's", which was based on Truman Capote's novella of that name.

It's particularly important to use quotation marks if a film's title, say "Julius Caesar", is the same as the name of the movie's main character, Julius Caesar. You need to be able to distinguish between the two.

What would you do if you could read minds?

Become the best business person in the world.Think of it, you are a salesperson and by reading their mind you can tell everything that’s going on in their heads. If they have doubts or questions that they will not verbalize I can bring it into conversation to ease the thoughts. I can also tell what their absolute top dollar they are willing to spend (if buying) or the lowest they are willing to take (if selling). You can also figure out in a merger if there is any unseen or unspoken problems they have and will not disclose. You have all the cards visible and all the leverage. That is what I would do. Plus you know you can always see if that cute girl is into you!

What do you do if you can't find a charger?

I live on a 22x14 mile island, with nearly 100 public EV chargers and even more private ones on plug share, so it is unlikely to occur. However if it were to happen that I did not have enough power to reach the nearest EV charger, I would not run the battery till dead trying. That can reduce the life of your battery.Instead I would park the car , turn it off and call my insurance Auto road rescue for a tow to the nearest charger….I live near a public charger… one day I saw a leaf on a wrecker being towed to the charger, but they could not get the car to boot up so it could be backed off the truck ,because not only was the drive battery dead, also dead was the 12v battery! That happened I suspect because they drove the car till the drive battery was too low to even recharge the 12v battery… then left the car accessories on which totaled the 12v . They could not even charge the leaf drive battery on the truck… in the end someone swapped 12v batteries with the leaf so it could boot up enough to be backed off the wrecker and get charged enough to return home.

I forgot my Facebook password and email password. How can I log into Facebook?

Do you have more than one email account? If not, you’ll probably have to set up a Gmail account to accomplish the following.Use a trusted FB friend/contact to help. If you're locked out of your account, you can set up trusted contacts who can help you regain access to your account. To request help from your trusted contacts:Click “Forgot your password?” on the login page.If prompted, find your account by entering your email, phone, username or full name and click “Search.”Look at the list of email addresses listed on your account. If you don't have access to any of these (which you apparently don’t), click “No longer have access to these?”Enter a new email address or phone that you know you can access and click “Continue.”Click “Reveal My Trusted Contacts” and type the full name of one of your trusted contacts. You'll see a set of instructions that includes a URL. The URL contains a special security code that only your trusted contact can access. Call your friend and give him/her the URL so that they can open the link and give the security code to you.Use the security code from your trusted contact to access your account.Make sure you let your trusted friend know to expect the email/security code, and to “shred delete” the email as soon as they give you the security code, because if they don’t and your Facebook account was hacked, the hacker could also have access to your email account. If none of this works, here is FB’s official “help” page on recovery: Log Into Your Account

What should I do if I don't crack the NEET?

First of all, Relax. :)You gave an exam. And you couldn't clear it. That's it. That's just it. May be you didn't prepare well. Or may be you did but circumstances didn't allow you to perform well. What so ever it was, we now need to decide- what next? BUT, before deciding anything please take some time and figure out if you 'really' wish to become a doctor? Please be honest to yourself at this point. Do Not think what your parents would feel, what would that aunt say, how good would your cousins be doing. Do Not!Because at the end these things don't matter at all. I know that we'll. Once you're clear with the answer to this question, we can move ahead. If the answer is a NO, straight forward talk to your parents. I'm sure there would be something you're interested in. It's already May and most of the colleges (for other courses) are done with the admission processes. Be quick in deciding what alternate stream you would go for. Now, if the answer is YES, if you really wish to become a doctor, then take a drop. Prepare again. And appear for NEET 2018. It would be no big deal. Trust me.I've been in KOTA for 2 years preparing for NEET and I've seen people taking 3-4 consecutive drops to clear this exam. Do not feel ashamed. Because you're doing the right thing. You're doing the wise thing. Also, there are chances for a re-NEET this year due to a lot of controversies. That means you might get one more chance. So it would be the best thing to start preparing right away.Get up tomorrow. Have good breakfast. Tell your family that you really love them. Do something that makes you happy. Watch movies, listen good music, talk to some old friend.. how about getting a hair cut or something? anything that makes you happy.. :)You should be normal within a couple days. And then without wasting a single day more, start preparing again. Yes. It's gonna help you if there's a re-NEET as you would start preparing before anyone even knows about the retest. And if retest doesn't occur then your study won't be wasted. It will help you with this one year you're dropping.Choose wisely. And make sure whatever you're doing, makes you happy. Everything else is secondary.Gof bless you. Take care mate. :)

What should I do if I can't pay my traffic ticket?

Kudos to Elliott. I’d add that every jurisdiction is different, and is governed by statutes that are more or less expansive in the discretion (leeway) given to judges. In my jurisdiction, New York, most traffic offenses that involve no injuries or criminal charges are handled in local courts (town, village or city). In some, the defendant will deal with an assistant district attorney (ADA), or directly with the police officer that issued the ticket if he/she wants to try negotiating a plea reduction of the charge. (Some ADAs will not negotiate plea reductions unless the defendant is represented by counsel.) In any event, when/if the court accepts the plea (whether “guilty”, or a lesser charge), the judge will always ask how and when you expect to pay the fine (and in most jurisdictions, a “surcharge” — a little extra fee that I refer to as “the insult added to the injury”. If the defendant cannot pay by a certain date or the full amount all at-once, he/she needs to tell the court right then-and-there, or as soon as he/she realizes that the full amount and date imposed by the court can’t be met. Most courts will be cooperative, if not entirely sympathetic, and will allow the defendant a reasonable time and terms to pay. Hope this adds to your knowledge base.
