When should my girlfriends 3 year old son STOP sleeping in bed with us?
I recently moved in with my girlfriend like 2 months ago. One real big problem I've always had in life is that I am a really liht sleeper. Anything and everything wakes me up during the course of the night. Lately all that seems to wake me up is my girlfriends son. I've talked to her about this and agrees he needs to stop coming in the bedroom EVERY night. The problem is she is a very heavy sleeper, when he comes in she just moves over holds the covers up and lets him jump right into bed. For me I think it is frustrating because he moves all around, he whines out of nowhere in his sleep and he snores and grinds his teeth. All these things wake me up out of a dead sleep and frustate me more because now, I have trouble falling back asleep. Me and her talked about it and se has given me permission to move him into his room, but sometimes I feel bad because I feel like he should see that she is with me in wanting him to sleep in his bed. So the few times she does get up and takes him to his room he screams and cries and she ends up laying in bed with him. (At this point I am now awake and bothered) And I feel like she should put him in his bed and come back to bed with me. Am I wrong for feeling this way? Am I being to greedy? I am not a parent and don't want to act like one, but how I was growing up, sleeping in my mom's bed was not accepted. How should I handle this without seeming like I am just being greedy and wanting the "bedtime" with my girlfriend? She says she loves the cuddling but, agrees he is 3 now and needs to stay in bed. She just never does anything about when he comes in at 2-4 in the morning. Any advice would greatly be appreciated

All in all, I think you are in a rare relationship where the roles are reversed. Usually the woman wants to have relations and the man does not. For the record, if he has sexual relations with you against your will, it classifies as rape in most areas. This is definitely grounds for divorce. I am concerned about why you "pass out." We need to seriously discuss the reasons for this because he may be drugging you. Yes, men of all ages drug women to have sex. I was going to ask about your sex life but you have already answered that. I can say, it must be nice to be a man who can do this, but it is not nice for you unless you are willing. The reason that I know is because my wife and I went through similar experiences before she passed away. I was injured and unable to do anything, leaving her inconvenienced, and then when she had cancer it was hard on her to consider me. It was just something we accepted and tried not to inconvenience the other. You always have the options of separating, temporarily, seeking marriage counseling, and so forth. For me, if there was some way you could put a mouse trap in your underwear… Sorry, I have my evil moments. Without offense, is it possible that his prior actions have traumatized you in such a way that even if he's not doing something it feels like he is? I'm not trying to side with him, only my experience with traumatic events. And, to me, this is a traumatic event. I do wish that I can be more helpful. While I am a man, I am different from the others. For what it's worth, if you do divorce, try not to give up on men. We may not be able to control morning erections, but we can control what we do with them. You should simply be able to say no and that be the end of it. Hugs, and stick to your guns. You can attract him and he can start cheating with you and sleeping with you and spending time with you but he can only date you if he wants to, so any advice to trick him into dating you is not true. All it can do is make him attracted to you and at the most pretend to be dating you. He can only date you of his free will and there is no advice for that since only you guys knows what he likes in a real gf.
