Should i take math 11 summer school?
do you think its a good idea to take math 11 summer school? i want to take calculus in grade 12 but i don't want to take grade 12 math and calculus in the same year, so thats why im thinking of doing math 11 summer school. i also need to get above 80% in grade 11 for the university i want to get into. WHAT SHOULD I DOOOO? im in grade 10 btw, and im getting liek 87% in math?

Well from what you have asked i am assuming you have certain interest in these fields which is awesome . I would say its an awesome start already . You know you have some time to do some stuff which would certainly help you achieve what you want. I would say research more about schools and their programs. Like why particularly MIT or Caltech . Why not Carnegie Mellon ? stuff like that which would make sure you put them in your statement of purpose. Other than that i would say try to join some interest groups in these fields . i am sure there would be plenty if you search. Like enroll in some robotics camp where they actually teach you how to build your own ideas. Interact with your teachers from those field. they will give you some insight. Try to look online what kind of applicants got into the programs you are looking. There are so many things you can do but i would say just start what you think would help you reach to your goal and rest will be fine !!
Can I take 10th grade in summer school & get into 11 in the fall?
What's the rush…? If my daughter (7th grader now) would ask me the same question I would have to slow her down: a teen does quite a bit of growing up in a whole year, thus you may be scholastically ready for a new grade but are you psychologically ready?? Are you mature enough to do this?? why do you want to skip a year? If it is only to shorten the time, that right there tells me you may NOT be ready because if you were mature enough you would know this I am explaining to you. On the other hand, if you need to graduate faster for, say family reasons (financial responsibilities, illness, and such), then I would talk to a counselor at school or an adult you trust. It depends on so many things…! Best of luck!!
What are some summer jobs for 11-12 year olds?
I would look into working for family member, like baby sitting, working in your school's office (like shredding papers, making copies of papers, answering phones.....etc), coldstones creamery, baskin N robbins. Im sure they're hiring around this time. Hope you find something that suits you. :-)
Grade 11 English in summer school?
As an English teacher, I would advise against fast tracking like that. Summer school English classes are more of a review for students who failed the class they took during the school year. As a 10th grade English student, you haven't had the same kind of exposure to the 11th grade material as an 11th grader who failed the class. Not only will you be at a disadvantage in the summer school class, you may also feel overwhelmed in a 12th grade English classroom without having had a full year of 11th grade English. One of the biggest complaints of incoming college Freshman is that they don't know how to write essays. Take the opportunity in high school to spend the time in your English class learning how to do this so you won't be at a loss when you get to college. It's good that you're thinking ahead and trying to make a plan for yourself, but don't do yourself any disservice by cheating yourself out of a full year of a core subject.

You are talking about running faster than your 3200 pace (~5:30/mile) for 3.1 miles (~5:20 mile). Think about that for a second. Consider how hard you ran when you achieved that 11:02 in the 3200. Now, tack on another 1.1 miles at a faster pace without any rest, and on a cross-country course.Part of what I do as a coach and mentor is to help young runners set realistic goals.I don’t know your age, how much running experience you have, and in what condition you were in when you ran your 11:02. I am not saying it is impossible, but you are really going to have to work hard this summer.As others have noted, 17:30 is probably more realistic based on your 11:02 3200.

Do not take 11th for granted as concepts of 11th help a lot in 12th and very important for competition too(like JEE or NEET etc).Case 2 - Assuming your description is correct .If you are aiming for CBSE only the no need to worry much just do chapters which will be required in class 12th (eg mechanics for physics etc ),but if you are aiming for competitive exams then devote extra time to 11th and make sure you know all the theory and concepts well. just revise the portion for 12th which is going on in your coaching and give rest of the time to 11th.(Question not written properly you should have added more details)

If I'm taking an SAT during the summer, what grade level do i put?
Unless it says something like which did you just complete or highest level of completion, my thought is 12th grade. If you have already signed up for classes or received a schedule for 12th, then that for sure. It is hard because it is June. Either way check the directions. If it says highest level completed then you put 11th. When I was in high school, as soon as summer came I called myself the next grade, because the level above you has already graduated or moved up. By June, you have for sure finished 11th grade. Do not put 10th.
