What to bring on a long bus ride?

HAND SANITIZER !!! Hun, u do not even know how dirty buses and public gas station restrooms can be. U don't want to catch mono on ur trip! Um, MAGAZINES because well I'm pretty sure with all ur friends and peoples there u won't be reading romeo and juliet. A BIG HOODIE or something u can sleep comfortably in. I like hoodies because they're warm and the hood makes a great cushion for a tempoary pillow. Bring a SNACK even though you'll be getting foor, just in case. WATER because traveling long hours can drain your body easily. Wear comfortable clothes- obviously. I personally don't play video games but if u have like a nintendo, bring it. Don't bring movies, because you'll be too distracted to watch it and it'll be hard to keep track of. Just make sure you have someone to talk to and something to fiddle with. :)

What are some foods to eat during long bus trips?

Having lived on tour busses for years, this is an area of expertise of mine. Now the number one rule of being in a tour bus, is no taking a shit on a tour bus. They don’t have toilets that can handle it. Even if you’re on a bus that can, you want to try and avoid it. It’s not a great experience. So what you want is foods that are easy to snack on which don’t cause unwanted trips to the bathroom.Avoid fruit. Avoid rice. Avoid anything high in fiber. This is not good health advice admittedly, but it’s what you need on a bus.For meals, the best thing is sandwiches. For snacks, the best thing is nuts and potato chips.Don’t drink too many fluids either.Do pretty much the opposite of what you do if you try and be healthy the rest of the time. There’s a reason why all roadies are fat.

Period and a long bus ride :/?

My period came and it just ended like 10 days ago! When it's early, it's heavy. I have a school trip tomorow. They tell us to use the rest room before we leave and we are NOT stopping. It's a 2 hour and 30 min ride, I;m gonna need to change my tampon once during that time so i'm gonna wear a pad. I'm afraid that on the way back i'll fall asleep and leak every where. What should I do? They will not stop the bus for me

Contact Lenses on a Long Bus Ride?

Ok so tomorrow I'm going on a 15 hour bus trip from Winnipeg to Banff and I was wondering what I should do.

I wear contacts, but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to be wearing them for the entire trip. Unfortunately, I do have pretty bad vision so I wouldn't be able to see much of anything without them. This probably would be easily solvable if only I owned glasses, but due to my severe case of vanity, I don't. Any ideas on what I can do?
