What To Do When Samsung Grand Hangs When We Open The Internal Memory

How can I solve a hanging problem in my Samsung Galaxy Grand?

Thanks for A2A.There is no long list that you can follow, as Samsung decices are running on Touchwiz, which itself is RAM consuming. Still you can go with following.Remove Samsung or google apps that you dont use ( playmovie, SNOTE, Galaxy apps etc ) from your device and if it can't be uninstalled, disable it.Remove RAM cleaning and security apps like RAM CLEANER, 360 Security, RAM BOOSTER. These apps are worthless as it does not help to clear ram instead app itself run in the back ground.Use lite versions of apps rather than full version. It will consume less ram.Remove empty folder from your Phone Storage and Memory Card. ( Not from the Android and data folder )Use apps other than stock like you can use QUICKPIC instead of Gallery. It will make some of your work faster, as these apps are of few mbs, but blazzing fast.Use faster Memory Card, and dont fill Phone storage and memory card to its limit. Leave some space. If you are pro, then you can root your device and install custom ROMs, it will make it fast. For rooting and all stuff you can visit, xdadeveloper.com site. Its heaven for Andoird developers, and everything related to android develpoment and all stuff.Disable some functions from the settings> apps, like air drop, smart screen, screen mirroring if you are not using it.Do factory reset in case if you feel your lhone is full. And so much to delete.Use latest version of android. I.e check for regular update.Hope it helps.

What should I do if my Samsung Galaxy j5 prime is hanging a lot?

Hi, thanks for A2A.Tips to increase performance of the phone:1. Go to settings>storage>cache. Clear all caches from internal storage and external SD card. 2. If your internal storage getting full, it makes a lag in performance. So remove apps from your phone that you don't need at all.  3. Do not play games or uninstall them from your phone because it need GPU to render graphics on a screen which increase the work of phone's processor. This lead to lag. 4. Back up apps that you use rarely in your phone and delete them all. If you need just install it from your back up files.  5. Move some data of the apps to your SD card so that phone memory slightly get free space. If you use marshmallow, you can move total app to the SD card now.  6. Please keep some space free in SD card. If you filled up photos, songs and videos, you would face lag problems.  7. At regular interval, clear your cache data from phone and external memory to free up some space. You won't lose any data by clearing cache. 8. Don't get your phone to be overheated. It may cause some hanging problems. 9. Do not install games that is as equal as your RAM size. 10. Playing unsupported videos, for instance playing 1080p videos in a phone that only supports 720p videos also makes lagging. But video quality will be superb than 720p format.  11. If you find any difficulty in clear the caches and temporary files in your phone, you can install memory cleaner apps from play store like ( C cleaner, clean master etc). Hope it helps!

What causes smartphones to hang the most? Is it true that Samsung hangs more than other phones?

Most of the Samsung Smartphones used to hang a lot. Mark my words used to.....The Reason according to me was1) Samsung phones never had interesting specifications(RAM, Battery Life, Processors, etc.)2) Higher Prices for low end smartphones i.e. No good resale value.3) No good features.4) Not worth buying.5) Worst HardwareBut due to emergence of cheaper Smartphone Companies like YU, Xiaomi, Coolpad, Quiku, Meizu, etc. It faced a great competition. Now it was a great challenge for Samsung to overcome from this competition. But they never stopped. With the emergence of new Samsung Smartphones such as the J Series, Samsung Galaxy S6,Galaxy S6 plus, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge plus and the note 5 it reappeared in the market again as the biggest Smartphones manufacturer in the world. This was a very good move...For older Samsung Smartphones mark my points :1) Root your Smartphone2)Install a good Antivirus and Booster (I recommend using 360 Security)3)Keep cleaning junk files and Cache4)Install apps only on SD card. 5)Keep files(Images , Videos or Documents) in SD card.6) Sometimes apps like Facebook use a lot of ram, use them on browsers like UC and create its bookmark on home screen.7)Don't install apps that are of no use8) Format your device periodically9) Turn off Sync for apps not required10) Turn off apps that work in background without your consent. (Use app info and click force stop)Best of LuckGood Day- Sahil RahejaFollow me, See all my profiles. https://www.google.com/+SahilRah...

What does this mean, checking file system on c?

Alomst anything can go wrong with a hard drive at any given time for so many reasons. There are a few initial tests that the hardware or software (OS) can check at start up that may indicate there is a problem w/ the "consistency" of the hard drive. Your OS (likely XP, Vista or NT) is running chkdsk which is a program to fix those programs.

Problems such as internal file allocation tables, file integrity, file pointers, and many more can easily get corrupted and sometimes just as easily fixed. My experience is that if it starts happening a lot (more frequently) that your hard drive could be failing and I would suggest replacing it before it does.

Another common cause to this is powering off the machine instead of using the "Shut Down" inside of Windows.
