ha ha ha should I be honest? My l'il monster( my daughter ) who's 3 years old…..she slept a lot in the afternoon, she almost ended up sleeping for 3 hrs. I was actually enjoying the freedom , yes unless you are a parent of a toddler you'll never understand the importance of having some time for yourself. so right now I'm trying to put her to sleep. It's a sweet-bitter feeling….of parenting. these are some side effects of being a MomYou hardly get to do your stuff ( your favourite pass time, hobby)every schedule revolves around these l'il monsters! yes, the time you eat , sleep everything!you will be literally waiting when they would go to school or sleep!I can no longer go wherever I want with just my wallet in a pocket and phone in another, I need to pack a list of things, extra dress, tissues, daiper, water bottle, a toy or something similar uuufff!I get embarrassed for random things in front of people , scribbled walls, funny gestures of the kid, endless questions etcso basically my daughter rules me. she's the reason for the drastic change in my schedule! but let me tell you……daughters are a blessing. why only daughters, children for that matter. you will rediscover yourself in them and it's the sweetest phase of anyone's life !They are worth ithere's my l'il princess, and me

When someone says "Am I keeping you up?"?
I have always wondered this. So sometimes when I am texting someone really late they ask me am I keeping you up? They never are keeping me up. Anyways when they ask are they keeping me up is that just a polite way of trying to stop texting or what? This is a dumb question but I get asked it a lot.

I had to be in the hospital for about three days because of having a double hernia operation. The nurses would want to come into my room every couple of hours and wake me up, give me a shot in the butt to make me sleep. Duh! After a few times of this I complained enough they gave me oral medicine and left me alone.My mom got woke up by the phone and when asked if she was asleep she told the dummy who asked that that she had to get up to answer the phone anyway.If someone wakes me up it better be for a good reason. Would go over easier if already awake but no guarantees if I am asleep unless it is real important .P.S. In younger days with friends that lived a good driving distance I have had times of watching TV with them and falling asleep and being woke up. A family member who needed something wouldn't bother me. Being woke up in the military calls for an “Oh crap!”. Living on a college campus-Be glad they woke me up then screwed with me while asleep.

That entirely depends on who's asking and the circumstances.If the person asking knows I haven't slept well lately, I will take it to be genuine interest and answer truthfully, while thanking for the interest.If the person asking is in any way responsible for my night's rest, such as a host, or a neighbour who is redecorating, I'll answer truthfully and tell him what has bothered me, if anything.If it's a nurse in a hospital waking up the patients, (s)he won't have time for prolonged answers and only if something remarkable has taken place, would I say anything more than, “fine”, or “well enough”.If it's my lover, I'll smile at him and explain what his presence means for me and my night's rest.
