What do I wear to a McDonald's job interview?
Dress/skirt and top for girls; dress pants and long sleeved dress shirt for boys. Please also wear clean, classic shoes. Do not wear stilettos or athletic shoes. The owner of the McDonalds in my hometown had other businesses. I was hired at McDonalds and it was great. My good friend was not, but she was hired in one of the owner’s other businesses. She learned work skills not available to the McDonalds worker.Just saying you never know what may happen as a result of just looking professional.
Next Christmas Temp Induction/Interview?
In the next week I am attending and 'induction' at Next. I completed the interview and will get paid for the induction, but have not yet secured a job. I am going to complete tests in front of a supervisor like I was told would happen when I applied online and was told I would always be put on the floor. I was wondering what exactly I would have to do. Also, will I get money for a work uniform or do I wear clothes I already own? What would the pay be for someone over the age of 18 and how often do christmas temps get paid? Does anyone know of someone being kept on after christmas? Any answers would be helpful, thanks!
Interviewing for teaching job...tell them I'm pregnant?
Hi! I got myself in somewhat of a corner. I graduated this past December with my teaching degree. Of course it was hard finding a teaching position mid-year, but I was still hired on part-time to coach softball this past season. Well, now that that's over...I'm on the job hunt. By the way..I'm 22 weeks pregnant. I go Tuesday for an interview and then Friday for another. Neither interviewer knows I'm pregnant. Good thing is that I'm on the taller/thinner side, still run everyday and as of right now I'm not obviously showing. I really want to begin my career as a teacher and do not want to get turned away because of being pregnant. I'm due Sept 30 and if my Doc lets, I will work to the point he says stop. This is our first child...we got married 2 weeks after graduation and pregnant right after *L* (yea..I know). He claims we will be ok financially if he starts working 7 days a week instead of 5, which I know will completely tire him out. I want to help! So...do I have to disclose that I'm pregnant next week in the interviews...or wait til I get an offer and negotiations begin? Thanks so much..
What kind of thing can I wear to work at HMV?
Can I wear leggings and a long vest under my HMV tshirt? Can I wear a dress with the tshirt over the top? Can I wear UGG boots? Can I wear a skirt, tights and my HMV tshirt? Can I wear a cardigan over my HMV thsirt? Haha, thanks :)
