You can’t go wrong with either brand, but there are other considerations and other brands and different grades of each brand out there that also sound great. You can get a better idea if you actually go to a music center and ask to hear how different ones sound and make your pick based on the sound and, of course, the price… Zildjians are pricey, but they do sound great, same with Sabians. Depending on your budget though, you may want to explore some other options, (other brands). If your a heavy hitter, you may want beefy ones, but they will have a distinct sound. If you don’t play hard, you may want thinner ones. Sorry there’s no one correct answer, but that is the nature of the quest for the right Hi-Hat! Good luck!
