What Type Of Jobs Would Suit My Interests In Both English And Graphics

What should I major in when I'm not skilled or interested in anything?

Right now I'm majoring in accounting, but slowly doubting my choice in that as the basic accounting class I'm taking I'm not understanding anything, and find it difficult to learn. I did plan on eventually going to take the CPA exam but after not being able to grasp the basic accounting class I feel that I would never pass the exam. So I'm pretty sure I'm giving up the idea of being an accountant.

So I don't know how I should pick a major when;
1. I'm not Good at anything (Although the point of college is to learn)
2. I'm not interested in anything
3. I have no "dream job" (Other then I want better then average salary)

I would appreciate any answers that don't tell me the usual, "Most people don't know what to major in, its normal"

If anyone wants to suggest a major to look in to that would be great, here is a basic information about me;

1. I have social anxiety, I'm shy and quite (I've had a retail job and hated it because I had to talk to people)

2. I'm bad at school subjects (English,Math,Science...), I pretty much hate it and see no purpose to it any more. Of course it was useful in High School but not in college.

3. A basic/normal day for me is; School/TV/Computer/Video Games/Social Networking/listening to music

4. Most people at my High School would say I'm good at Computer Graphics (I don't agree and wouldn't want to major in that as; low pay and hard to get and I suck at drawing)

or if anyone has some suggestions of what I can do to find out a major, I've taken several test online I usually get business

I resized there probably isn't really an answer to this and I probably sound really boring and pessimistic and that would be correct. But any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Also are there any counselors or classes that help with picking a major? (There isn't one at my college as for as I know)

What do you think would be a good career field for my interests?

What do you think would be a good career field for my interests?

I wanted to be:

Historian - Realized the only history I liked was World War II and Holocaust
Graphic Arts - Wasn't good at it at all, didn't care for it.
Drafting - Found it boring
Computer Programmer - Not as easy as it seems

I have always wanted to be a teacher, but at times I don't want to be. I'm really good at English and Foreign languages.

I'm kinda interested in Psychology, but at the same time I don't really care for it.

I like to dissect stuff (not in a bad way), I find it interesting, not gross like most people.

Stuff i'm intrested in:

-Writing
-Computers
-Biology
-Psychology
-Sociology
-Foreign languages
-Business
-Marketing
-Foreign Science
-Health Science
-Broadcast Journalism
-Criminal Justice
-Theatre
-Music
-Making/Editing Videos

I'm very interested in technology. What are some good careers?

I'm currently a freshman in highschool and I'm very interested in technology. The thing is, I know a good amount of everything, but don't know a super lot about 1 specific thing. Example: I know about all the specs of mainstream tech devices like tablets, smartphones, computers. I have a good idea of how to build a computer. I know some very basic HTML programming (java). I know a lot about headphones and audio. And I know a lot about gaming. I'm also a pretty good gamer (If that has anything to do with anything). And I know how how computers work and know how to operate them better than most kids my age.
I took 2 college classes over the past 2 summers through a program called Duke Tip. One was at Vanderbilt and the other was at a small college in Florida. One was a computer science class and the other was criminal law.
Gaming is my pasion but let's get real, it's not a very wise career choice.
My parrents are getting ready to sign me up for another class this coming summer and I'm not positive which type of classes I should take. I've narrowed it down to 5. Some are computer science classes and some are gaming programming, others are computer engineering and 1 is software programming. They all seem really good to me but I'm worried. So in conclusion, is there a class that would better suit me that another and what other careers are there that deal with the type of stuff I'm good at and enjoy doing?

Thanks guys!

I am an electronics and communication engineer graduate. It's been over a year, and I haven't found any job. Some said to do Java, and I'll get a job. I have also completed that, but still no job. I'm frustrated and I don't know what to do next. What can I do next?

Thanks for A2A.You have many options but you need two things for any of the following: perseverance and hard work. I will share what happened with me and my friends.1) Many of my friends did B. Tech. in ECE and did not got a job immediately, nut they did not loose courage. They went to places like Delhi and Bangalore where you can find many job advertisements everyday. Walk-in interviews are very common. They got the job within 6 months. These people simultaneously enrolled in training for java or vhdl.2) Some of them stayed back at home and prepared for a specific job (a few of the jobs not related to ECE) and cracked it within a year. This includes vacancies in public sector or research institutes like ONGC, BHEL, CSIR, ISRO as well as many banks.3) A few others applied for jobs advertised on (Jobs: Search Jobs In India, Govt Jobs, Job Vacancies & Freshers Jobs Online) * or similar portals. 4) A few others (including me) appeared for GATE either in 4th year or after completing degree and got admission to M. Tech. programme. The stipend is good and if you have a predilection for research no other option can be better.Right now I can't think of any other option but I'm sure there must be.  I totally understand that staying at home after getting the degree is boring and kind of embarrassing, but rather than thinking about it better to use time constructively for our better future. Remember, everyone gets a job if one persists long enough.*Disclaimer: I am not endorsing the job portal directed above. It was just an example where you should search for jobs and not pay them money or submit resume.

What is technical writing?

It is basically straight forward writing. For example a manual or instructions are a form of technical writing. The true definition is: A technical writer creates documentation for a field or technology. Their responsibility, like a graphic designer's, is to effectively communicate a message. A technical writer is responsible for writing text that is helpful to his or her intended audience that is accurate, readable, and accessible.
The entire point of Technical writing (aka Information Development) is to communicate and disseminate useful information. Technical communications are created and distributed by most employees in service organizations today, especially by professional staff and management. Writing well is difficult and time-consuming, and writing in a technical way and about technical subjects compounds the difficulties. To be useful, information must be understood and acted upon. Fortunately, tools and techniques are available to make writing more accessible and easy to understand.
