What Type Of Workouts Make Your Tummy Look

How come my tummy looks bigger after ab exercise?

doing the sit ups and crunches will tend to make the muscles in the abs bigger. this is a good thing soo dont be discouraged if you want to tone up the muscles doing ab workouts alone wont do this you need to burn the fat around the abs by doing HIIT training and cardio as well as abs. also try working other areas as this creates stimulus in the muscles and will burn more hope this helps.

How to make my tummy appear flatter?

I have this abercrombie & fitch shirt, & it's a tank top & it's just tight fit. It does fit, but the material is like the kind that sticks to your skin you know? x) Anyways.
I look sort of chubby in it, just because it's tight. What could I do to make my tummy appear thinner?
I've heard of liike pulling up nylons or something over your stomache, but I don't want something noticeable like if my shirt accidentally goes up people see this weird thing pulled up to my ribs x)

Is there any way I can just make it appear flatter? :/

How do I make my tummy flat without doing exercise?

Technically there are no workout required for a flat belly,  to sculpt the abs you may have to do some workouts, but for a flat natural midsection no workouts needed. All you need to do is lower your body fat % until it's flat, again it's subjective differs from person to person. Normally 15 to 18% of body fat,  which makes the tummy looks flat. To get flat stomach you need to increase the caloric expenditure and reduce calorie intake based on the age,  resting metabolism, activity level and lean body mass. All other things like cardio,  crunches,  situps very less effective, or I can say useless when you target to get flat belly without tracking calories in and out. Firstly take care of diet and then only exercise helps to reach the goal faster.

Do ab workouts really make you lose your tummy?

It has been documented that when you work out certain muscles on your body that the fat that is closest to the muscle being worked will be burned more than others around. I would say to do both. You will feel better and if you are not in it to get MASS then do lots of stretches. Stretching will cause you to not be building a ton of mass, but just endurance and strength building and will result in more toning of your body(weight loss or really fat loss because you will replace it with healthy muscle weight).
Get a Conjugated Linoleic Acid supplement which is an ingredient found in safflower oil. It has been found to help your body burn the fat and have good lean muscle retention. Amway sells a great one called CLA500. I personally am not familiar with other brands to say what other good supplements are. So if anyone else knows of a good one post it up. But it's totally up to you. The item straight through the site(not through a distributer) is down below.

My ribs stick out! How can I get my torso to look less weird?

you don't need to LOSE weight, you look fine. If the rib thing bothers you much, why not try adding an ab workout in your routine. Don't overwork them, but build a little something down there. It'll lift your tummy a little, and narrow your hips making your ribs stick out less. You don't need to lose weight.

You say you already do cruches, have you tried using a yoga ball and doing crunches that way? Sometime I like to do is taking the ball and putting it between your legs and moving side to side, that works your lower abs appose to the center which it sounds like what you may be doing. I suggest looking into some workouts with a yoga ball and doing a different kind of ab workout. Not all ab workouts will make your tummy stick out. Instead of focusing on the middle, work your lower abs and your upper abs, go easy on the upper though..too many can make your tummy stick out a lil. but 3 days a week in moderation should be fine.

Also look into some workout routines for your sides using the yoga ball, they're really simple and may have reduce the ribs sticking out. But you have great skin tone, and you look fine! Thanks for answering my question!! :]

How to make legs look skinnier?

heey, firstly a size 10 isn't even big so don't stress too much. but if you are feeling uncomfortable, you could always try wearing a tunic over jeans to hide your thighs and they're usually baggy around the tummy area as well so it will hide that up. i think jeans look better if they're worn with boots because flats make your ankle in comparison to the rest of your leg more noticeable. you could also wear high heels which will slim your leg down, they almost always do the trick. you can also purchase certain underwear that sits just above your belly button and holds all that extra tummy fat in. you can also buy them longer so they hold in your thighs and tummy. a friend of mine wears them because she's really uncomfortable with her flabby bits and they usually will bring you a size down and fit quite well without feeling all uncomfortable. another tip for your thight is to not wear skinny jeans, but maybe jeans that flare out a little like this:

these are boot leg jeans.
but please don't get the one's with too much flare, i really don't like the look of those.
maybe also do some exercises like situps and leg exercises, that will help you get toned up a bit. something that works really well, is to hold your legs up in the air at about 30cm and just hold them there. it hurts, but it will help in the long run. no pain, no gain. (make sure your legs are together).
well anyway, hope this helps and the best of luck with everything =)

How long would it take me to get a toned stomach?

There's a saying: abs are made in the fridge, not in the gym... If you want a flat stomach, or your abs to show, then you need to get your body fat percentage around the 10% mark (15% mark for girls). This can only be achieved through a sustainable diet.
Try these few simple principles, and stay clear of fad and crash diets: http://www.fitness666.com/2012/06/weight...
There are a number of workouts that target your abs, but because you cannot spot reduce fat (you cannot target a particular area of the body for fat reduction ; when you lose fat, you lose it all over), unless you do these in conjunction with a calories deficit diet, you will grow strong abs, but they will be hidden beneath a layer of fat. That said, working your abs will definitely help you add definition once you get there. Try this workout, it's excellent, and it will work your core like there's no tomorrow: http://www.fitness666.com/2012/07/abs-an...

Do ab exercises make your stomach look bigger if you have some fat?

If you strengthen your abdominal muscles and do not lose weight then it is likely that belly fat could be pushed out by the muscle growth and make your abdomen appear bigger . This can also be true if you are doing heavy exercises for your obliques. These exercises can make you look more trunk like with a wider waste.Doing heavy abdominal exercises can cause temporary swelling to the abdominal area because of the tiny muscle damage that occurs after heavy exercise.Don’t mistake skin looseness for new fat. When I really started to do core exercises, The muscles of my abdomen became very strong, but my deflated stomach fell all around my middle. When I sat down, I looked like a pile of mashed potatoes. As I continued to lose fat (and my skin caught up), this went away and I was rewarded with a slimmer midsection. This process can take longer as we get older and extreme weight loss may leave permanently loose skin without surgery.planks and core exercises are what are currently favored over crunches. Developing your stomach muscles will pull in visceral fat.If you have weakened and stretched stomach muscles, like after the birth of a child, then stomach exercises will simply pull in the muscles tightening them up. But take it easy directly after childbirth and take special care following a c-section, consult your doctor first.
