What Vocal Exercises Can Make Your Vocal Cord Expand Higher

What vocal exercises can be practised to sing in perfect pitch consistently ?

Well there's always the la, la, la, la, la la up and down the scales. I think the octives are determined by your vocal chords but maybe you need to search that out on yahoo search engine. Because some singers choose the key of their songs and stick with that octive. In addition, there are media companies who work with you and make your voice sound on key, so when you get a chance try working with a media company and try all 3 octives and see "what they can do for you". Maybe "they" can make you sound like you are singing all octives.

How can I get a high vocal range like Vic Fuentes from Pierce The Veil?

Practice makes perfect. The fewest singers out there were actually born with the 'perfect' voice. Some things you can do to train yourself are singing exercises. Google that and you'll find a bunch of singing exercises. Sing songs that you aren't very good at e.g. if you're good at singing low songs find some high pitched songs and vice versa. Drink a lot of water while singing. Nothing sweet or anything, simply water. I had a phase where I wanted to learn how to scream (screamo/metal) really badly and started to practice a lot. It hurts at the beginning because you, like, set new boundaries to your voice - if you get that. Just be careful to not overdo it. Yeah, that's all I have, hope it helped! :)

How can a man increase the height of his vocal range? How do you get to the point of singing strong high notes?

Vocal range depends on speed of neuro-impulses making your vocal cords vibrate. Men frequency is formed by one impulse per efferent nerves (chest register). For higher frequencies they need to conduct two impusles in separate nerve fibres at the frequency of one;A. Falsetto - vocal cords act by the ligamentous edges of the vocal folds only,  while folds' bodis stay relatively relaxed.B. Men have to "cover" high notes. What does it mean? Men make vocal folds thinner: Adam's apple goes down , stretching vocal folds. This way, they react for less active nervous impulses if sent "by two".How to?Giving advices here is a wrong thing... it all needs teacher's control.A. Falsetto is preferable for baritones, because Tenors' vocal folds are too thin and make not so beautiful sound; Bass' vocal folds are too strong and they don't need falsetto; However, I don't reccomend using falsetto. If used regularly, it shrinks diapasone and spoils it; It may be useful for mike singers for soft and strict sound.Singing: Just try to sing everything in head register positioning your sound upwards (feeling like it goes not straing, but to the ceil). Later, You'll position it all to the mike or hall.B. Good breath support required. Soft palate up and Adam's apple down;Sing excersised in high range (for interval of 5th or 6th, octave or even 9th, where the highest note is your top) on strong support and in the point of taking highest notes either make them stonger by stomack overpreasure (e.g. push anything or pick up ) or connect them by glissando (blend). This way You'll connect them to lower notes and one by one.Other usefull excercise is octave singing on the sound "Oo" ([uh]>[uh] or [ah] > [uh]), then on "Ah". You take the closest high note and go up by semitones unitll you hear the high note in octave sounds flat. This means it's your top for now (but developing diapasone it will higher).Even mike singers must sustain breath support!!!The main point - You must understand that singing high notes is nothing but mental operation, when brains sends more signals. It's like Neo in Matrix watching a spoon bending down. The most crucial thing that understanding is not already having done, but is the way to achievement.

How would a baritone expand his vocal range upwards?

There is a possibilty of extending your range a note or two. I'm not sure how old you are, but generally the time that the most extension can be reached is after the voice has finished changing and settles into your mature cords. The best way to work on extension is to do simple vocal exercises in ascending and descending patterns. Start by singing them only to your highest "good" pitch then as you warm up more try singing a half step or whole step higher. There are some good exercises at http://www.vocalist.org.uk/ . The key is to only do these for 15 or so minutes 2 or 3 times a day if possible. DO NOT force your self to go higher than your voice can handle. "Screeching" can cause more harm than good to the cords. It really all boils down to daily practice because the vocal cords, like any other muscle, need to be stregthened and conditioned constantly so that they can stretch and form muscle memory in order to sing in the head voice. Now, if you work on this and don't seem to be making any progress (remember this takes time!), then it is entirely possible that your voice was created to sing the A4 as your top pitch...don't worry about it- use what you've got and use it well! Good luck!!!

Can I expand my vocal range (modal), or is it set through genetics? How would I increase the notes I could sing to sing higher notes?

A2-A4 is a pretty solid vocal range! Congratulations.Like other parts of the body, our true vocal range is largely dictated by physiology – we can only sing with what we’re born with. However, most folks don't have access to their complete vocal range: singing well and reliably in the extremes of the vocal register requires more coordination (especially for male voices) than does the middle voice. Increased coordination can usually extend the range one is comfortable singing in, though every body is different. If your goal is to expand your vocal range, plenty of very good voice teachers would be able to help. Range extension is about flexibility, co-ordinating the necessary breath mechanism, and activing the appropriate glottal / supraglottal areas while not activating inappropriate ones. It's not at all uncommon to for a vocal range to expand with study. With that said, most voice teachers prefer to focus less on adding to the range, and more on cultivating beautiful singing in the abundant vocal range currently available to you. This is a good thing - what good is a rangy voice, if the notes in that range don't sound good? Beautiful, easy-seeming singing is the goal of almost every voice lesson. Furthermore, while vocal range extension is possible, it is likely to be slight: a tone or two in each direction, unless you count falsetto. The expanded range will (obviously) be at the extremes of the voice: the added lower pitches are likely to be very quiet, and the added higher pitches very loud. So even if you add these notes to your range, they might not be all that useful to you, depending on the kind of singing you do.The good news is that the goals of range expansion and overall beautiful singing are mutually beneficial: adding a Bb4 to your range, for example, will lend ease and beauty to the A4. So if you want to expand your range, find yourself a good teacher and get after it! Good luck!

Is it possible to get surgery to make your vocal cords better for singing (higher octaves and higher notes)?

No, no, and no. Surgery will not help in making yourself singing higher. If anything, a wrongly done surgical procedure can risk costing your voice forever, and you certainly will not want that to happen because you need your vocal cords not just to sing, but for your daily conversations as well. You might need either of the following or both in order to sing better high notes:Get a qualified vocal teacher that can help you with basic singing techniques such as breathing, vowel tuning, using your voice registers optimally to get the best out of your vocal range and slowly extend it, etcLower the song’s key in order to get the best resonance out of your high notes - it is not a matter of hitting the note in tune only, but whether the note gives off the best resonance for your voice as well
