Having visited China, I found the Chinese to be courteous, friendly, focused, wise and diligent. Some of the most fascinating things that I learnt about China were:KnowledgeThey taught English to a large number of their students who acquired knowledge in foreign countries and brought China at par with developed countries and it became integrated in the world community.Confucius and Tao learning are milestones in human history.Printing press and paper are tangible Chinese historical contributions.A large number of research papers in the world are written in China and patents registered.Manufacturing: Cheapest goods are available to the world.Anti Narcotics: The Chinese solved their opium addiction problem effectively.MilitarySun Tzu's book is read all over the world which was written over 2,600 years back.Gun powder and rockets in ancient times; anti aircraft carrier missiles in modern times.Island making techniques.Diplomacy and FriendshipChina is the the sponsor of CPEC with initial $46 billion investment through Pakistan which is a game changer and flag ship project of one belt one road concept.Aid without strings and non interference in internal affairs of other countries.Trade and not hegemonic approach.High Speed Train Travel:China is leading the world.China dreams of connecting human race with high speed rail links. This includes connecting Beijing with the US through Bering Strait. The US is in a state of shock and paralysis of how to respond to such a daring human dream.China has remarkable political stability.Discovery Voyages: Chinese Admiral Zheng He visited the Indian Ocean and did not colonize the area. He only took back some wild life including a giraffe, a lion and a wild beast .Presently, China is the winner of the war on terror by keeping peace at home and not getting unnecessarily embroilled abroad due to an exaggerated threat perception.

What were the major contributions of the Persian Empire to the World Civilization?

1- The first human civilization - - The Persian Civilization (==Eilam); It was ahead of Egypt by 500 years, of India, by 1,000 years, and of China, by 2,000 years, of Greece by 3,000 years, and of Rome, by 4,000 years. Some paintings in Lorestan caves in Persia, that show a horse-riding man, are 17,000 years old!2- The “Cyprus Cylinder” and dates back to 539 B.C.: Perhaps the greatest Persian contribution to civilization was Cyrus' Charter of Human Rights Cylinder.the name ‘Persia’ comes from ‘Persis’ a region close to the Persian gulf in the province of Pars. Cyrus the Great came from this region and it is from here that he began his campaigns to unite all the other regions in the Iranian peninsula to create the Persian empire.3- The first empire in the world, the Persian Empire. It stretched from Ethiopia to India, with 127 provinces. Cyrus the Greats son “Cambodia”, added Egypt later, and for the first and the last time in history, all the governments of the known world were ruled under one color.The Turkish People are a result of the mixture of the early Iranians, and the Chinese; Semites and Egyptians, Palestinians and Arabs, are the mixtures of Iranians and Africans; while the Indians are a mixture of Iranians (Brahman) and the native blacks of India, Dravidians.4- Perhaps the most important was religion. The Persian state religion was Zoroastrianism which had a major impact on all three Abrahamic religions--Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.Prophet Zoroaster is an important figure for the Persians. The Persians followed Zoroastrianism based on the teaching of Prophet Zoroaster. The main god based on this religion is Ahura Mazda.5- There was equality among men and women.6- While all other world powers persecuted and discriminated against the Jews (e.g. The Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Romans and later Germans and the Russians etc.) the Persians were the only world power who actually liberated and protected the Jews.7- The oldest rock relief in the world is the Bistoon rock relief.8- a Stark Conflict between good and evil.9- The Royal Road was a famous road in Persian Empire built by King Darius the Great. This road was huge and had the length of 1,700 miles. The Persian Empire created the first link between Indian subcontinent and the developing West in Mediterranean Europe. Much of this was transitory, but not all.
