What Was The Kids Newspaper Section In The Toronto Star From A Few Years Ago Called

Can anyone tell me some info about the village hidden among stars from Naruto.?

Well, first off, it's not real.

None of it is.

It was all a lie.

Naruto is the figment of an autistic kid's mind, and the show takes place inside a snow globe.

Have news become more biased in the present than in the past or is it equally biased today as it was years ago?

How do you define “bias?” Because no human exists without it; the trick for ethical journalists is to report FACTS in an interesting manner, while being aware enough of one’s own bias so you don’t accidentally slant the perspective. This is impossible, because of the reader, & let me show you why. (It’s not a blame thing, so chill.)I do reading workshops with kids; here’s a cool exercise I do with them to illustrate how VERY differently a simple sentence’s MEANING can vary… all depending on how you READ it.(Usually I have volunteers hold the words singly on cards, but I think you can handle it in sentence form.)Read each sentence. (They're all the same.) Each time, put the emphasis on the word in all CAPS.• ARE you my mom?• Are YOU my mom?• Are you MY mom?• Are you my MOM?Wow, right? So to answer your original question:Modern media is NOT more biased. It's LESS biased, less racist, less presumptive of any imaginative entitlements, or never-were status quo than ever before.WE are more biased though.

Is Bobby Orr the most reluctant legend in sports history?

I would hardly consider Bobby Orr a 'reluctant' legend. Only Sidney Crosby has more endorsement deals than Bobby Orr right now as far as the NHL is concerned.

Bobby Orr has spent most of the last 30 years as an NHL ambassador here in Canada.

He has endorsement deals with Canadian Tire, MasterCard, General Motors. Not a day goes by where you don't see Orr on television here.

Last year on behalf of the NHL and NHLPA, Bobby Orr made 217 appearances in Canada and another 16 in the US. Both were his lowest numbers in years.

Having looked at what I just wrote...............maybe his profile in the US is much lower than his profile in Canada.

In Canada, he's still a legend, and he plays his supporting role very well...........far better than the three you mentioned.

He is a certified NHL Player's agent, and has been for years, and that surely takes up some of his time (he has a dozen clients or so).

So..............in Canada, he's far from invisible.

Snoop
I've met LT several times, and he's been every inch a gentleman in my books.

I think what it comes down to is what the sponsors want people to see. Mastercard is a huge sponsor of the NHL, but they show non-hockey commercials for the US market, while in Canada, we see Bobby Orr, or some kid wanting to drive the Zamboni. General Motors is a large sponsor of hockey. In the US you see generic GM commercials during hockey games, in Canada, we see Bobby Orr. The Network which carries the Kings games shows a Digiorno pizza commercial featuring Martin Brodeur and Luc Robitaille. we see that same commercial in Canada for their McCain's sister pizza 'Delicio'. But aside from that, very few commercials in the US are aimed at hockey fans with hockey themes featuring hockey celebrities, while in Canada, we see commercials for just about anything endorsed by a hockey player 12 months of the year (i.e. Hayley Wickenheiser hawking Hamburger Helper).

Caledon Local 21?

Hey so read this "blog" from some guy who grew up as a kid in the 90's. He says there was some channel called Caledon Local 21 in which was run by one mysterious man with like 3 shows on it. His most creepy one Mr Bears Cellar in which he says in one episode he was sjown terrorizing kids and eventually in one burning 16 kids. is this true or no? supposively the house is now vacant and he was never found but is this true or not? i think no cuz tv would have taken it down. The guy also said he went tere one day as cops were raiding the place. so true or nah?

Should parents share pictures of their children online?

I’m definitely the odd one out of my friendship group because I am the only one who refuses to share pictures of my son online (unless they’re sent in private messages or emails). I also ask anyone we know not to share any photos of my son on social media, and if they send it privately to someone, to let us know as well. Obviously, some people don’t appreciate that, but honestly, it’s not their child, so their opinion doesn’t matter. My husband and I have made this decision together because we came of age during a time when social media was juuuust starting to become a thing. I remember when you needed an email invite to make a Facebook account and it was only for students. I got to choose how much private information of myself should go online and who should see it. My 7 month old son doesn’t have that luxury if I just post every cute thing he does (and believe me, it’s so tempting!). I’m less concerned about identity theft as I am about him going online one day only to realize that his entire life has been broadcast on social media by his parents. That time he ate solids for the first time? Video available to anyone to see. That time he threw a tantrum at Target and mommy decided it was too funny not to share? That time he cut his own hair and looked ridiculous? Yeah, if he can see it, any future employer has access to this information, too.I believe we don’t realize the long term effects of this social media sharing, and I think social media will come to an end within the next couple of generations. And respecting my children’s privacy doesn’t mean I don’t share these moments with my loved ones. I have lots of group chats and also individual messaging threads where I share all of these moments. Rather than likes and upvotes, I get a loved one enjoying that moment with me, and being genuine about it.Of course, every parent can choose for themselves how much information they want to give the world about themselves and their family members. We happen to be those weirdos who don’t want our family to have a presence on social media.
