Which is the best psychic-based TV series?

Psych. No question about it. I'm willing to fight to the death for my Psych-o brethren. SUCK IIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTT!(It's also a really funny show that has what is probably the longest and greatest list of pop-culture references known to man)

Do you think the Mentalist ripped off Psych?

In the mentalist Patrick is not pretending nor does he pose to be a psychic. He did at one point, but not anymore. The two shows are very different. Psych is all comedy while the mentalist is mostly drama with a little hidden comedy. I don't really feel the mentalist ripped off psych. How many different doctors shows are on tv? How many law shows? Just bc they have the same basic theme does not mean that it is a ripoff. I personally find more similarities between the mentalist and castle than the mentalist and psych. Both shows are good and all of the comparisons should really stop. It's hard to compare a comedy and a drama. They are too different.

How is evidence from psychics handled in court?

Okay, first off...the "Evidence" you speak of is from the crime not the psychic. The way a Psychic intuitive is treated in court is like any informant. Psychics provide leads when no one else can find any. They reach into that intuitive and sensitive side of the mind and see things that the detectives may have missed. This is why America has one of the greatest systems for law enforcement in the world. Detectives and officers do not limit themselves to just one kind of information. They by necessity want to pull all and I do mean ALL of the pertinent information and find the truth. It doesn't matter if the truth comes from a psychic or an anonymous caller. It doesn't matter if the lead comes from a snitch or a regular inside informant. It doesn't matter if the lead comes from God on High. They will follow any and all leads to make sure that they find the truth and are convicting the correct individual. Yes, we are all human and mistakes can be made, but 99% of the time the system works.

What is the name of Psychological disorder in Prison Break?

In Prison Break. Sarah meets with Dr Brighton and he said that Michael Suffers from 'Low Latent Inhibition', a condition where he processes every single element of what he sees.
Dr Brighton used a desk lamp as an example. Michael would see the lamp like i would, but his mind would also fixate on every element, down to the bolts and washers inside.
His brain is more open to incoming stimuli in the surrounding envirionment, which the tipical brain would shut out thruough a process called 'Latient Inhibiton.'
Appariently, if someone with a low IQ and Low latient inhibition it results in a mental illness but someone with a High IQ like michael results in creative genius.

I believe it was the 2nd episode of "Paranormal State". There was a name that the team leader wouldn't say, but wrote it down, as well as recieving it from the psychic medium. Does anyone know the name of the demon who was messing with him? I'm not satanic by any means, I'm just curious.
