What Website Should I Use For Fishing Techniques That Actually Work Like Native American Type

How do I fish florida Canals? Nothing has worked?

Hey. I live in sarasota county, fl, and I have tries fishing in the canals to pass the time. I see the fish and they are over 1 ft long. I have tries baite like worms, shrimp, and other home made baits but nothing worked. Yes, I did go out at dusk and dawn to do so. I sat there for hours and got nothing at all even when I cast where the fish is. Can someone please help me.

How much is my native american artifact worth?

I was kind of skeptical too, but this guy has spent years studying 3 or 4 indians tribes that lived in the southern Kentucky and northern middle Tennessee and can even speak one of the tribe's languages.

The ball or game stone (I don't know what to call it) is clearly fashioned by human hands and is about the size of a cue ball. To me, it's so unique that it's hard for me to believe that it wasn't formed by a human years ago.

He said the Native Americans in the areas used some kind of racket or some contraption made from wood to toss it to one another. Judging by the location of the stone, close to the bend of a large creek at the bottom of a hill, it seems like it's plausible.

I'm not expert though. If you would like pictures, just e-mail me at Hendrix5118@yahoo.com. I'm going back soon to fish and look for more artifacts. I'm not planning on selling it though.

Is React Native actually native or hybrid?

Actually React Native is neither native nor hybrid.A React Native app is an actual mobile app. With React Native you can build a real mobile app that's indistinguishable from an app built using Objective-C or Java. React Native uses the same fundamental UI building blocks as regular iOS and Android apps. For many this is a great advantage, given that normally, you would need to program your mobile app using Java (for Android) and Swift/Obj-C (for iOS). Yet, React Native simply removes that requirement, leading to fully functional apps on both platforms in less time and using just one coding language. Sounds great right? But… is React Native an entirely new invention? Well, not exactly. The framework was actually developed only a few years ago, by a social media company you have most likely heard of. Yes thats right Facebook!Facebook is the company behind both ReactJS and React Native. In fact, Facebook first created React to build the social platform we all love to hate. After further development, Facebook released ReactJS for the web as open source. However this is a whole different story.Coming on the heels of ReactJS, the purpose of React Native was to facilitate the creation of mobile apps. It’s simple: if you can code an app once in JavaScript and deploy it both to Android and iOS, your life gets a lot easier. If you’ve ever used the official Facebook app on Android or iOS, you’ve seen React Native in action. (Same goes for the mobile Airbnb app.)React Native is not 100% nativeFacebook might try to tell you it is, but the truth is that React Native apps are not equivalent to true native apps written entirely in Swift/Obj-C or Java.Let’s take the native Gmail as an example. The Gmail app includes a worker that checks your inbox. Your Gmail account is synced with the whole mobile system, not just the app. Gmail also knows that if you’re on mobile data, not WiFi, it should sync less often. With React Native you’re not integrated so closely with the system - at least not out-of-the-box. Your account will be stored in the app, not the system. It’s also harder to take into account WiFi versus mobile data. For some apps, this will not be a problem; for others, it might be game-changing.Anyway hope this answer clears the air for you!If you would like to read some more about React Native, make sure to check out our new blog post - here.

Do any Native Americans still live the traditional way?

That isn't living traditionally.....That's living as a walking history exhibit.

The traditional has never had anything to do with things so superficial as what you live in, what you wear etc.

Being traditional means knowing the language....the stories.....the customs....and living the spirituality.

So No.....very few, If any Natives are walking history exhibits. It's odd that people like to demand that is somehow part of our cultures.

What percent Native American do you have to be to get government benefits?

jjferg is right, my father in law is 100% cherokee and he says the same thing. And you DO NOT have to live on a reservation, you just have to be able to prove it. You can get all kinds of stuff from comodities (food) to a house.

My mother in law and father in law even had a new bedroom and bathroom built on their house. An ac with heat pump and they get full medical, have to pay nothing for prescriptions. Plus he got a house a long time ago but he let his ex wife have it, and just a few years ago they offered him another one.

How did the Native Americans hunt?

Native Americans hunted primarily with firearms and steel traps. If you are talking about Indian tribes, as I type this I’m looking at a collection of stone spear and arrow tips. They are very fragile, but this was all the Indians had as stone age peoples, at least until the Europeans showed up. All of these stone tips were created in pre-Columbian times because Indians much preferred the technology of whites.Out here on the once-treeless Texas prairie, Indians had another way to hunt. They would set fire to the prairie in a way that would either drive game to them or over a cliff. This constant setting of fire also killed off all the vegetation except grasses and forbes, which is why the prairie now has trees on it. Indians as damaging to the environment is contrary to the liberal myth of the noble savage versus the rapacious white man. Indians were some of the worst tree killers in history, and yet the tree huggers love them.
