It will tell you things that may fit with your personality and it will also tell you things that most likely will not fit with the answers you provide. I've always liked the Myer's Briggs test, but if you are looking for something that is other than the norm, you could try the assessment in the book, 50 Best Jobs for your Personality which is a Jist publication. They also have a website, www.jist.com, that has many other assessments. The assessment helps you target your personality type (Conventional, Realistic, Entrepreneur, etc) then gives you many options for types of jobs you might enjoy doing, even breaking down the salaries and the type of education and training needed for the job. I really like this assessment because it asks what type of skills you like to use the most and the least, which is helpful in pinpointing the type of work I would be happiest doing. Good Luck!!
