What will be the name of a Puggle mal-shi mix?

Spay the female NOW. The Pug and Beagle are many times larger than a Maltese or Shih-Tzu and continuing this pregnancy not only means mongrel puppies to die in shelters, but almost certainly the need for a c-section ($2000+) and possibly her death from complications even sooner than that.

And the correct name for the mixture is the same as the CORRECT name for the parent's: mutt, mongrel, cur, crossbreed, mixedbreed.

What dose a puggle dog look like?

DOES>.........DOSE is an AMOUNT!!!!
&
BYBd MUTTS w/stupid lies stuck on 'em to SCAM THE SUCKERS can only "wook wike" the fugly BYBd mongrels they are.

Why won’t my dog sleep in my bed anymore?

Some of the other posts were rather harsh and assumptive of your actual situation. Here are a few reasons below because I believe you wouldn’t be asking here unless you cared about your dog and because doggy owners all start somewhere and all learn from everyone else. I’m not sure what your situation is thus I’m not going to assume what it is. If any of the below resonates with you great!!!Age could be one factor. If she was a pup then and turning into adulthood now, they don’t sleep as much as puppies did or wear down as easily. Also with age and even with youth it can sometimes be a sign of pain. Especially if they have joint problems or rickety hips.Doggy steps helps with this issue.another reason might be the vents from an ac or heater are blowing on her and she’s choosing a healthier and more comfy spot to lay. Instinctively most animals will move away from a drafty area.Another factor is if you have a kennel, it could be that your dog likes it’s safe place in the kennel and feels it’s her/his own little bed.It may be warmer in that spot, she/he doesn’t get woken by snoring and flopping arms and legs or tossing and turning.Sometimes it’s because they feel safer on a lower level and sometimes it’s because they are watching over you and that’s their position of being on watch.Could be your dog wants to stretch out more and can’t or has to do so over the bulge of blankets, etc.If your dog is awake at night and sleeping during the day, then they need more exercise and playing at night to wear them out. This should be done both physically with exercise and mentally, teach them a new trick or go through their tricks or practice heeling, stay, etc.The days you are home, take them some place to run it out. Then return and lay down on your bed and give them all sorts of attention, (belly rubs especially) and treats.

What is the most ridiculous designer dog name you have heard?

Golden doodle is one of my favorites..........

My dog is almost 1 1/2 years old and is still not house trained. Is it too late?

Not at all! However, you have to be willing to invest time and effort into making it happen. A simple way I use to potty train my critters:1. Try to stick to a feeding schedule so that your dog's bowel movements are somewhat timed.2. Take your dog out and see if he has to go potty immediately after waking up, after AND before each meal, and before bedtime.  You want to be one step ahead of him to prevent him from going potty inside of your home as much as possible, and these are the times he is more likely to have the urge to go.3. This is where the time-investing comes in. You can't just take the dog out and leave him there for 2 to 3 minutes. Preferably, you should take him out on a leash, walk him around for at least 5 minutes (some dogs may need up to 10, so the longer you wait, the better). You can also use words such as "Go potty" to encourage him, and later on, it can be used as a command. My dog learned this, and when she doesn't have to go, she'll just trickle to get me to shut up and let her back inside :)4. As soon as he goes, give him a treat he really loves. It has to be immediately after, or else he won't associate the positive reinforcement with him going potty outside, and it'll be useless. Also, take him back inside after the treat is given, or else he'll think he was taken out just to have a good time and not to go potty. Of course, he can have some play time a different time during the day.5. Be persistent and continue this pattern for as long as it is necessary. Most dogs catch on right away...within a couple of weeks, while others may need months.6. Be alert for any hints that your dog needs to go potty. He will start with subtle signs such as whimpering or pacing uncomfortably. It will eventually progress to barking, scratching at the door, crying, sitting or standing by the door, etc. At that point, your dog is pretty much potty trained!Remember, be patient. My Lab was potty trained within two weeks, while my Aussie mix took 2 to 3 months. As long as you don't give up and are consistent, any dog CAN be potty trained at any age.Hope that helps! Best of luck,Connie M.
