What Will Change Going Into Highschool

How does going into high school change your life?

High school makes you more stressed. There's more homework. At the end of freshman year you'll feel like a lot has changed in terms of your friends, your views on life, and how you see yourself as a person. You'll meet loads of people. I'm not as close to my parents as I used to be.

I've noticed that high school made me sharper and meaner and I judge people more then I used to, personally. I'm trying to become more who I used to be. My advice to you would be to keep your friends close and don't be afraid to try something new. Don't be scared of popular people - they're just people like you. Explore new things. Join a lot of clubs.

It'll feel confusing and overwhelming at first, but things settle. Freshman year isn't going to be the high point of your life, but you can still have fun. Also, reach out to new people. I had just switched schools and knew nobody at my high school when I started, and it was really hard for me.

You'll have a great time, though. High school is actually pretty fun. :)

How do people change in highschool....?

Some poeple change, it doesn't mean everyones gonna' leave, it just mean people you may not have noticed could become your allies, and you'll relize some old friends wernt worth your time. Not everyone is gonna leave or some stupid crap. Just trust me, high school, is just bigger, You'll relize who your real friends are, and who was a waste of time (if anybody was), The girls are alil more catty and guys are alil more street.

Really its just a big middle school

What are some life-changing advice I should go with into high-school?

Freshmen year of high school I started a list of things to remind myself to stay grounded and just tips I thought would help me later on. I am a junior at the moment.Put yourself first. Put your priorities before others. There will be a lot of mistakes that can be made by falling into the trap of being too nice, too naive, and too weak around other teenagers. Remember that you are in school to learn and improve yourself. This doesn’t mean not caring for others. It just means making sure you are in a position to help others without being trampled over.Get enough sleep. There’s no point in staying up all night studying for a test that you’ll snooze and drool through, barely passing with a 71. The average amount of sleep you should be getting is 7–8. No less than 6.Manage your time wisely. Let’s be honest, procrastination is inevitable, no matter how hard working or time-aware you are. It’s okay to procrastinate here and there to give yourself a break, but learn to create healthy studying, eating, and sleeping routines so that you do not burn yourself out.Find study strategies that work for you. This was a problem for me in 9th and 10th grade because I did not know how to study efficiently. Something I could study in 15 minutes took me 3 hours. I was watching crash course videos, taking notes, making flashcards, reading and rereading, and testing out different strategies before I found what worked for me. This helps through college as well.Your grades are not your life. You will make poor grades, you will make good grades. It depends not only on you, but also your teacher, curriculum, home situation, and so many other things. Your purpose at school is to learn, not to look for the awards of your being there. Study with the intent to learn, and you will find your classes to be worthwhile.Cherish your friends. High school is a roller coaster of emotions, internally and externally. Having a good friend group is one way to get through it all. You’ll learn to appreciate them years down to road. You’re stuck in school for four years, might as well make some friends along the way.Hopefully this helps! :))

High school schedule change?

I am going to start high school in September. I was wondering if I would be able to change a few of my classes by the first day? I have major anxiety, and depression and have recently found out I am not in any the same classes as my friends. I know, I know please don't say I need to suck it up, and things like that. My questions are?
1. When do the administrators come back to school?
2. What would be a good answer, when they ask why I need to change my schedule? (My therapist, and new high school counsellor will assist me)
Thank you so much.

Will my appearance change through out high school?

Im 16 right now turning 17 on November 23. I am a guy. And i am going to be a junior next year. I was curious if my appearance will change through out my next 2 years in high school or even through out college? And if changes occured to you, was it a good or bad change?

Why do people change so much in high school..?

I'm going into my sophomore year of high school, and most of my friends have changed..but I've changed the most. My two best friends in middle school are now just acquaintances, well less than that really..we never talk and hardly ever see each other. In the past year I've changed a lot. I used to be really naive and immature, but over the past year for some reason I've changed a lot and I'm not at all like that anymore. Also, I've kind of got back in touch with some friends from when I was a couple years younger, and they aren't even hardly the same either. So, just curious...why do people change so much in high school? And as kind of a bonus question I guess, why do relationships between guys and girls (dating relationships) change too? Thanks!

How will my physical appearance change in high school?

I'm going into high school in a month and I want to know what will happen to my physical appearance. I'm not fat or anything but I want to know if i'll slim out a little more. My mom said during high school she blossomed or something like that and become thinner and prettier. Also i'm curious to what happens to boys do some get muscles or just slim out?
