What Will Happen If I Will Use Beta Version Of Antivirus

Can I install two related antivirus apps in my Android phone?

IMO any kind of digital device needs a protection, if that is exposed through networks. Android may be fool proof against viruses, but if you are into computer security field, you will know that there are plenty of Trojans and malicious applications  that are waiting to take your device. Those days we call them Viruses and these days they are in different form. It is just manifestation of these malicious programs all these years. If you are going to use your device for personal purposes. Sure I would recommend using a nice security software. You do not need two Antivirus application. If you see the way the Antivirus engines are designed and developed, most of them cannot co-exist. Even if it does, it is going to consume lots of computing power and it's not required.

If I uninstall Avast Antivirus, will the viruses come back into the computer?

They won't "come back" exactly; once they've been detected, and have been quaratined and removed, they're gone, but for any amount of time you go with NO antivirus running on your machine whatsoever, you're very vulnerable to anything that roams the internet - viruses, trojans, worms, adware, spyware, malware, etc.

Secondly, you don't want to use free antivirus programs, they're free for a reason: because they DON'T come with all the necessities it takes for them to work properly. AVG is the biggest example of this: all it does it JUST scan, it doesn't do anything that will quarantine or remove the problems, it just basically says "We've detected all this crap, but there's nothing more we can do, sorry". You're just going to have to scrape up some cash and purchase something good, reliable, and comes highly recommended to install on your computer, so you can have full protection.

Where can I get free and full protection of antivirus?

If you are looking for a Free and Full protection of Antivirus then you should definitely try a freeware like 360 Total Security. It’s free and it is good for daily usage.Download Here : Download Free 360 Total Security

How good is avast! antivirus?

Avast isn't bad. The best thing about it is that it is free. Avast, AVG and other free antivirus work pretty well as long as you have a good firewall (Zone Alarm is free) and a good malware detector. I use Malwarebytes for that, also free. None of these free applications work as well as Norton, McAfee and other paid products, but its a good alternative to paying for the service.

Good luck.

How Good is your anti-virus?

The source of this is virus.gr.

They are not very reliable (but relying on opinion of users is even worse, most don't have a clue, and a lot of fake reviews and ratings, that give good ratings for afilifiate sales), their test methodology is flawed. Some of their past results are very very obviously wrong (e.g products using the same antivirus engines differing results by a lot!!!)

Do you know how they determine if something is a virus in their test set? Something is a virus if Kaspersky,or F-Prot or Nod32, Dr.Web or BitDefender or McAfee says it is!.

Rubbish. In real tests you should determine if your test bed is valid independently (human analysis) The way they are doing is similar to a teacher setting a test by polling a couple of students on the class on what the answer is, and accepting whatever answer they give and taking those as the correct answers (some might be wrong -false arams) and the *only* answers (lots of malware cannot be detected by any).

http://www.av-comparatives.org/ is slightly better but pretty much the same problem with test beds, they probably don't reflect real world performance.

Want real results? http://winnow.oitc.com/AntiVirusPerforma...

This is way better than any of the other tests, because this is real time real world stats. Whenever a human analyst finds an infection he will upload it to virustotal for checking. This is as close to real performance as viruses uploaded will be those that really exist in the real world as opposed to in virus collections.

The results generally suck, with Antivir doing best but that is with heuristics turned all the way up and high false positives (fortinet has the same problem). Webwasher is actually a gateway level scanner using Antivir plus something else that is why they are #1

Kaspersky that many people worship? 50% only lol. But better than a lot of others.

You can even see what happens to detection rates if you combine several antiviruses.

Moral of story? Don't rely on antiviruses to keep your safe. There are much better methods like using applications that do sandboxing/ virtualization and behavior blockers (Kaspersky 6 has this but it is not tested here) .

Why does Avast give free antivirus?

It's called the Freemium model. Give people a version for free.  Try to upgrade them to the Premium version. Benefits:Increased footprint: for data gathering purposes.Increased footprint: for higher marketing numbers.Increases value for the components that the company believes have real value.Increases footprint: for potential use (expand market into other areas like advertising, beta test ideas, ...)Convince enterprises to use your version because many of your employees are familiar with its interface and may already use it at home, or, for the enterprise to expand the use to its users at home will not be any increase in price. It's the model upon which much of AV was built.  Back then, it was called Shareware.Protect your neighbor, because online security is a function of the safety of the ecosystem.  (Proof in Microsoft Security Intelligence Report around v12 or v13.  But something we've suspected for ages.) And lastly, if the user is not using your product, he's someone else's customer.  It's going to be a lot harder for you to extract money from him if he's happy using a different product.

If I uninstall Chrome and then install a fresh version, will my bookmarks repopulate when I reinstall the browser?

Hello,Any malware or popup item will most possibly return because they usually are able to be synched with Google Sync too.. So I would exactly do those below X 5 in order to feel safe. A browser is nearly everything on your computer these days.Go to settings. Find home pages / start pages. Enter. Clean the ones that you did not intentionaly added. I only leave google for instance. Then find your extensions. Send the ones to trash which you did not installed by yourself. Also the ones you have no idea what they are about.Quit Chrome. The use some system cleaners and security software. CCleaner for cleaning would do. Choose every checkbox for Chrome.Use Avast Browser Cleanup. Erase the suspicious addons.I assume that you are protected with a decent security suite. If not, it has got to be the first thing. For free, install Avast or Comodo or etc etc...Then use some anti malware. Malwarebytes, Superantispyware, Spybot, Bitdefender Anti- Adware. Then run some third party anti virus cleaners.Panda Virus Cleaner, Kaspersky Virus Cleaner and Sophos Virus Cleaner would do.Uninstall Chrome. RebootReinstall Chrome. Insert your user credentials. It will sync with your old items and settings except the malicious. Each and every step is crucial. Dont miss a point or change their order. You can and shoud rerun cleaners and anti malware software after reinstallation.Hope this helps. Sorry for the typos etc. I could not reread what I have written. Good luck...Warmest Regards,Alp

Witch Anti Virus Software Is Best?

BEST FREE ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE:

Avast is free and effective, it scans your downloads for viruses (unlike AVG) and also includes anti-rootkit and anti-spyware, it can also run a boot scan.

Avast Anti-Virus: http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.ht...

I use Avast along side Comodo Pro firewall on my XP computer both are free and have been independently tested and proven to be more effective then Norton or Mcafee.

Comodo Pro: http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/

WHY AVAST IS BETTER THEN AVG

Avast works much better then AVG, on the official AVG website it says that the free version does NOT scan downloads for malicious content where as Avast DOES, whats the point in having anti-virus software that can't prevent viruses from being download.

Did I really win $500,000.00 for opening a Yahoo Beta mail account? See the attached letter. Thanks?

Absolutely not. Classic Nigerian scam artists. Ignore them.

Can I earn money from beta testing Android apps?

Usually the beta testing apps is not for profit it is for those who want to access that app before the whole world gets it.But some companies are there who pays you to test the beta apps of their company. So the final answer is-It depends upon company to company. If the company pays to test then you will get money otherwise not.
