How can you get thicker thighs?

No matter how thin your legs are you can always build thicker thighs by doing “squats”. Squats are called the king of exercises for a reason. It's also a perfect analogy of life. When something heavy tries to take you down, you fight the fear and stand up.You can start to build your leg strength by doing body weight squats first. Be ready for pain which would make you limp! But remember that's when legs grow. You can start doing body weighted lunges and jump squats after two weeks of bodyweight squat training. Then you can start doing light weight squats, leg pressses, walking lunges with light weights. Then slowly start to increase the resistance by increasing the weights. You'll start to see the difference in your thighs size and strength.

What can I do to make my thighs bigger/thicker?

Food/ Diet: To get bigger thighs you need to eat more and eat (frequently).... you need take in more calories than your body burns off..

Your thighs are made up of Two things... Muscle and Fat... to get them bigger/thicker you need to increase size of the muscle's that your thighs are made up of and you need to add fat to them..

To do this ... you need to eat foods high in protein(meat etc).... becuase protein is what muscles are made of
You also need to eat a decent amount of carbohydrates....( whole wheat bread, Pasta, Wild rice..etc).... because carbohydrates are what fuel your body for a workout..... they give you the energy needed to workout
The last thing you need a good amount of is fat... eating fattening foods will give you more energy.... will aid in making your thighs thicker... curvy.... and will prevent you from loosing weight...
Foods that tend to be high in protien... like Dairy products.... Beef, Salmon( meat), Nuts, Seeds.. also tend to have a decent amount of fat in them..

With all that said.... just slightly increase your portion size....and eat every 2/2:30s hours... just eat more..... you can workout all you want to but if your not eating like someone with thicker thighs than you wont get thicker thighs.

As far as working out goes.... Working out is Very important.... if you eat all the stuff above... and eat frequently but dont workout..... it wall be converted to fat... and unless you gain most of your weight in your legs naturally that would not be a good thing... the last thing you want is a pot belly with stick legs.

Also with working out you want to do.... Weight baring exercises..... Weighted: squats, Leg presses, lunges, dead lifts, hip thrust, step ups.. sprints.
You need to do excercise that are... short, and intense that require a lot of power

You also need to get plenty of rest.. dont workout every day.... workout every 2 days.... if your trying to get bigger legs.
Your muscles wont grow when you over train them...

Will kickboxing make your arms or thighs bigger?

when you say big, how big ? only weights will make you very big ! and kickboxing is more cardio workout in its training than anything else. the sparring and bag work will condition the hands and legs and some other areas of the training will tone you up over time, but kick boxing training alone will not make your arms bigger or anything part for that matter. to get " bigger " you need to do some weights as part of your workout and of course eat enough food as fuel for the body, healthy food of course.

Yes it will, depending on how much weight you use and how many reps per set you do. If you count your sets in "minutes" and not in reps then you are definitely not going to build any visible size as you are basically doing cardio. 10-12 reps is a great range for building size in a muscle group. Lunges are also a great alternative. Or leg presses. Any pressing movement with the legs will do or a leg-extension machine but that is an isolation movement, thus uses less muscle groups and burns less calories.

A good diet and workout to thin them out is stay away from carbs if you're not active, if you are active they're okay and eat healthy ones like wheat, and oatmeal, etc. No white breads and chips. Pilates is the best work out to slim down and keep it tight with out bulking out. Watch some videos they have tons of them. This is my favorite lady who does the work outs. She's fun but they're not easy. She's a trainer and makes it look easy. I could barely get through some of these.

Anyway volleyball does not make you bulky in any way. It'll help tone them up. If you want to lose fat though you have to do cardio and aerobics. Try running, swimming, biking etc. Roller blading especially helped slim my thighs down!!

Oh and genetically women are not capable of getting super muscular. It takes YEARS and pills to get disgusting muscles. It takes those body builders (men), even years as well. You will be more than fine.
