Can a cop pull you over while you are parked?
I assume you use “pull over” in a sense of come check on youI don’t know if this counts - but on a couple occasions when I was trying to nap somewhere in some town off a highway (driving at night, got tired, got off the highway and parked somewhere where it looked quiet sort of a deal) a policeman would knock on my window, ask me what I was doing (don’t remember if they checked my license; they might have) and asked me to drive away while also telling me it was unsafe to be parked like that. Did not give me tickets or anything.Another time - while in grad school- me and my friend were in a car chatting about the assignment we had and police not just came, they had like a second car and they were shining a light at us and checked our documents and all and kept asking my friend if he knew my name. I think they thought we were doing something we shouldn’t (which we didn’t) so in the end they again asked us to drive off and not sit wherever we were, but did not give us any tickets or anything.
What will the cops do if I call them on my pot smoking roommates?
In a nutshell, my roommates smoke weed in the apartment and it makes me uncomfortable, and makes my work clothes smell like weed. They refused to take their weed smoking elsewhere. The property manager didn't do anything. I am sick and tired of disrespectful roommates. What would happen if I called the cops? Can I get in trouble, if it is not in my bedroom? Can my roommates get arrested/evicted? Is there a way to get them arrested but for them to have no idea it was me that called? If they find out that I called..... Please don't tell me to move out. I'm not asking what I should do. I'm asking what will happen if I rat out my roommates.
What can cops do If you egg a house and get caught doing it by the owner?
You might ask why "egging" would be bad, or maybe you know. It isn't just that the eggs have to be cleaned up. Sometimes an egg yolk can leave a stain. Put enough of them on a house and you might just cause the house to be repainted. Costly. So this is why it can result in criminal charges for malicious mischief, destruction of property, or what ever it is called where you live. If the cops can prove it, then you could get charged and depending on the amount of damage, may mean a simple fine or some jail time.
Sneaking out, can my parents call the cops?
I've already snuck out before but my cat got me caught because he wouldnt stop meowing at my door then my parents checked my room. They said next time their gonna call the cops on me..What's the deal with that?what can the cops do?I've heard that your parents have to report you as a missing person and that the cops wont even do anything until 24 hours of you being gone. My mom is like the anti-christ she doesn't want me to do anything EVER. I'm 16 and I wanna hang out with my friends, not even doing anything bad. So if I sneak out and my parents don't have a clue where I am or who im with and I get dropped off the next day what will happen?I already know I'm gonna be in trouble with my parents, but i honestly dont care at this point.

Sneaking Out. What if the cops catch me?
I know in my town if you're caught out late at night walking around, the cops will pick you up and take you home. They don't take any information. I want to sneak out, to go see my boyfriend who i haven't been able to see in three weeks because his step dad won't let him talk to me for a few months. I was arrested a few months ago, for sneaking out and spray painting. Tonight, I want to sneak out. I have no intentions of doing anything illegal. My town has no curfew, and my parents never gave me one either, so that's not an issue. Im just worried about cops bringing me home and having to deal with my parents. How can I avoid cops? & what do i do if they catch me? Im on a kind of probation, but not really, but if i get in any more trouble with the cops within the next 8 months, I'm going to Juvi. I got caught by a cop skipping school today will they tell my parents?
me and my friend were walking around the neighborhood and we saw a cop looking for us so we ran into the ally and the cop drove in there and caught us he asked us questions and searched us. he got our names birthdays and addresses then he was on his lap top for a while.. after that he told us to get out of the ally and to go back to school.. what do you think he will do? will he call my parents or will i get a ticket? or will i get in any kind of trouble?? please help
